Lovely quiet, comfortable hotel with good size well equipped bedrooms and bathrooms. Car Parking at the rear. There is plenty of room in each space whether you have a small car or a large SUV. The breakfasts are excellent in a large nicely situated breakfast room. Paul is an excellent host, with good local knowledge. Everyone is temperature tested on arrival in the car park and Covid 19 arrangements are impressive and reassuring. Without hesitation I am happy to recommend this hotel.

Visited this amazing hotel for my birthday weekend as unable to travel abroad. Booked it for the views and the amazing room and we were not disappointed. We had the Admiral Suite and we will most definitely be going back. From the point of booking Paul & Cheryl have everything covered and give you complete confidence especially in these uncertain times. Paul greeted us on arrival taking our temperatures and showed us to our room and wow what a room. Breakfast and time slots pre-booked for the duration of our stay and the room was equipped with everything you need. Great advice given on where to go and also places to eat and always a friendly smile to greet you each morning at breakfast. Checking in, paying and check out so simple. Can not wait to return hopefully sometime soon.

Paul and his wife should be complemented on such a well organised covid safe run hotel. Extremely clean, tidy and friendly. Great breakfast and system in place to order the night before. The location is perfect if you like a quiet night's sleep. The hotel will organise and book the ferry too. Checkout Bonchurch Inn, 11th century Church and sea wall walk to Ventnor which is just across the road and down the hill. Bus stop opposite hotel. Highly recommended, many thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had yet another excellent stay at the Leconfield. Having stayed at the Leconfield for many years our visit this time did not disappoint. Both Paul, Cheryl and Sue had put inplace all Covid regimes. They left no stone unturned. Their regimes to protect guests could not be faulted. We enjoyed our leisurely, tasty breakfasts before setting out for the day. We certainly hope to visit again.

We only booked this ‘ Hotel ‘ because it had a pool and appeared to be a small boutique and family run hotel . We understand the limits due to the CV19 situation BUT although this is the reason the pool was closed and there was no room service there was NO reduction in the price . We can not fault the location , helpfulness or cleanliness of the rooms and the property itself is lovely . BUT we NEVER book B+ B’s for the reason that you have to ‘ stay out all day ‘ or are a prisoner in your room. And had it been sold as a B+ B we would not have booked it in the 1st place .

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and still coming to stay in these challenging times despite the offer to cancel for free when you felt you were misinformed. We enjoyed your company and your kind comments regarding the property, help, room and Covid installed cleaning schedules to ensure you felt safe and comfortable. Hopefully, you will find a suitable hotel in the future if you choose to stay again on the Island and again, apologies and thank you for taking the time to comment Kind regards.
