Detailed Reviews
Paul was a very welcoming host, nothing was too much trouble. We loved his sense of humour and his chirpy disposition. The room was spotlessly clean with beautiful crisp, white linen and he really catered for all our needs, including home made packed lunches and flasks of coffee. We stayed 2 nights and by the time we left, we felt we'd known him forever. We look forward to seeing him again in the future and will highly recommend the Bay B&B to our friends and families.

Faultless. This B&B has obviously been set up and managed with the utmost care and attention to detail. We were in the family room. A very clean, minimal style and totally immaculate. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful shower room. Believe me, I am super, super fussy about cleanliness - this b&b is spotless. Very good breakfast.
And the hosts are an absolute delight - friendly, polite, nothing was too much trouble. They are also very carefully observing Covid guidelines, which we very much appreciated.
We hired the electric bikes for a morning. Tremendous fun, the bikes too, were pristine and we were provided with a good map suggesting a cycle route.
Congratulations to Paul and Adam - they couldn't have done more.

Had a great long weekend away on the IOW with friends having booked the bootcamp weekend package. Everything was perfect, our host Paul and his family were friendly and helpful and most importantly made a standout breakfast following a gruelling bootcamp session.
The location of the house gives you access to stunning hikes and the beautiful bay to have a quick swim at the end of the day.
Will definitely be coming back.

Thanks Jo. It was a fun weekend for us too! We’re developing another ‘Mind and Body’ break which will incorporate both bootcamp and yoga sessions. Hoping to launch in the autumn.

We stayed for one night whilst walking the coastal path. The host, Paul, was very friendly and helpful and we had a very comfortable night’s sleep. We didn’t have a tea tray in our room , although we were given mugs with a tea bag in…and breakfast was disappointing as we weren’t offered juice, fruit, cereal or yogurt…only the main course and tea or coffee. It was delicious, but the other five B&Bs we stayed in all gave us tea trays in our rooms, usually with biscuits, chocolates and often fruit and also there was plenty of choice for breakfast, so it was disappointing. That said, if those little extras were provided, it would score highly.

Thanks Mary. We have removed tea bags etc from our rooms temporarily due to COVID restrictions, however, we always provide these if guests wish, as we did of course with you. I’m so sorry you were disappointed with breakfast. Our menu clearly offers hot drinks, juices, a wide choice of cereals, homemade yogurt, cooked breakfasts and toast so I’m not sure how you missed that. If you return to the Island I hope you might be able to indulge in a larger breakfast next time.

Fantastic accommodation and the hosts were friendly and so helpful. The breakfast was amazing and cooked to perfection. The decor was tasteful. The B and B was spotless but very welcoming. Can’t fault it...
There weren’t any tea making facilities in the room on arrival due to Covid but Paul, the host, asked if we wanted beverages and then provided straight away, a kettle and sachets plus milk.
Distancing and Covid measures were in place.
Would highly recommend this B and B and the Piano Cafe, which is close by for a meal during the evening.

We were treated as honoured guests from the first moment and Adam and Paul could not have been more accommodating. From my GF options to our neighbours Halal/ vegetarian breakfasts everything was catered for with ease. When I misplaced my phone charger, they went and took theirs off charge to lend it, without even being asked. They were genuinely interested in giving us great advice about things to do and where to eat. Generous and genuine hosts.

We had the most divine 3 night stay with the delightful Paul and Adam. Both could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The morning chat or Isle of Wight hot tips & must-sees over breakfast were as much of a treat as the breakfast on offer. Our room was beautifully curated, super clean & comfortable with extra towels and pillows available should we needed. Located in Freshwater it was the perfect location to explore the island. We had such a lovely stay we are staying again in August. It seems the IoW and this B&B has stollen our heart.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Bay. The house is beautifully maintained with great attention to the little details that make for a comfortable visit. Excellent breakfast catering to every choice. Paul the landlord was kind and helpful at all times making us packed lunches to keep us going on two beautiful but long walks on the coastal path. The Bay is perfectly situated to access this wonderful walking route.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bay Boutique B and B. The rooms were spotless and clean and the beds were so comfortable and location quiet, ensuring we had the best nights sleep during our stay. The full English breakfast each morning was the best we have had and Paul was the perfect host and provided a brilliant breakfast and we would never stay any where else. Staying here made for a wonderful holiday.

We stayed for 5 nights at The Bay and really loved it. Paul and Adam are lovely hosts and the room was a great size with tea/coffee making facilities and had a very good en suite with a lovely, large cubicle with a overhead shower. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and beautifully kept. The bed was very comfy so we slept exceedingly well despite the heat. Paul’s breakfasts are delicious - freshly cooked, hot and served beautifully. All in all we had a really lovely mini break and we will definitely be going back to The Bay B&B for another holiday in the not too far distant future. Thank you Paul & Adam - see you soon xx
