Very welcoming, very clean, very well located. Fab place to stay, facilities so clean, thought they were brand new not ten years old. Lots to see if you have time and like being in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Just a pity we did not have long. Also had a small shop

The always clean shower block
I believe it is possible to walk to the large tesco via footpaths. It is a maximum 5 minute drive so cannot be that far to walk.

From memory there were no bad pitches here. They nearly all had sun. We were in front of the squirrel hide which was lovely and very spacious.

"Request a pitch not too far from the toilet block if you are camping."
"All areas are easily accessible."
"Take your own :)"
"If having WiFi matters to you, get a pitch near the reception office as apparently it is patchy if you are too far away."
"Be aware the trees create big shadows. See if you can pick a pitch to suit as the sun moves around."
