We spent a very relaxing couple of nights at the Boathouse and will definitely return. The location is superb, right on the seafront with fantastic views across the solent. The room we had (403) was small but spotlessly clean and very comfortable and breakfast was superb with lots of choice. (Perfect poached eggs) The pub is a great place to...

£99 for bed and breakfast was good value. Popular pub overlooking the sea near Ryde and the ferry to Portsmouth. 4 rooms with ensuite upstairs decorated in simple style mainly blue. Quiet when the pub closes. Coastal walks from the inn Book a table for a dinner and you get a short menu 2 for 1. We chose the a...

We stayed here for 2 nights on Friday 10th and 11th Feb 2017. We were welcomed by a lovely lady who showed us up to our room. We had room 403 and it was FREEZING! She told us that the heating had only just come on and would soon warm up the room. It took over 5 hours for the...

We would love to have seen this restaurant full and bustling with atmosphere but we were almost the only diners here on a drizzly Monday lunchtime. Nevertheless, we received a friendly welcome and a tasty hot meal. Food was reasonably priced in relation to the drinks. A couple of small problems...we were not told initially that one orders food at...

We booked a table for two and the staff could not have been more accommodating. It wasn't busy at all in the eating area. When I...

Spent two nights at the Boat House. Seaview is easy to get to, being near Ryde, but small and uncommercialised. It's a small and friendly place & our lovely double room had views out to sea and across to Portsmouth. The breakfast menu was very comprehensive including Kedgeree which was fab. Also a lovely veggie full English as well as...

We were fortunate enough to discover this gem and spent three nights here celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The staff were superb, the room was beautiful and the breakfast out of this world. It was our first visit to the Isle of Wight, and the Boat House is an ideal place to stay. Our stay was out of season, so...
