I don't know why I've put off this review. I suppose it's because I'm a bit scared I won't do it justice! Sue and John are quite simply, the most lovely and attentive hosts. It's like going to visit your favourite Aunt and Uncle - you know, the ones that like to treat you all the time! The accommodation surpassed...

A home away from home in a very quiet location. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. Our room was superb , very comfortable and beautifully decorated , excellent views and ….with a well stocked library to boot !! Breakfast in a conservatory style room was exceptionally relaxing and a wonderful way to start...

I can thoroughly recommend The Golf House. We had such a great time. The service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful premises in a beautiful location. Beautifully refurbished with an amazing decor. Sue and John were so warm and welcoming and did everything to make our stay wonderful (including a jar of dog biscuits for our 4 legged...

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 2 little dogs. Somewhat exceptionally, the owners had agreed to let us have the suite with the dogs. We had a big bedroom, lounge (needs another table lamp please), luxury roll top bathroom, hallway, spare bedroom where we put our cases, and our own front door. We had a great time relaxing...

Made very welcome by both John and Sue. The top floor attic room we had was huge, spotless and had everything you needed. Lots of little extras, i.e. proper milk in a small fridge for making tea and coffee .Breakfast fantastic, all freshly cooked to order and a wide choice. Loved how well behaved there 2 dogs were. Fantastic place,...

My wife and I, 2 daughters and son-in-law stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding. We were greeted by Sue & John and the 2 dogs and welcomed into their home. The room we had was totally self contained, spotless with a very comfortable bed, tea and coffee and biscuits! The other 2 rooms for my family were...

My husband Jeff and I just returned from 2 night stay at the Golf House. Would highly recommend to stay here where owners Sue and John are just a delight. Felt like meeting up with old friends instead of having just met them. Our room was amazing, we had top floor room which was huge and a wonderful view from...

We chose the Golf House as we were visiting friends in Newport and wanted to be on the coast but a convenient drive away. What a good decision it was. Sue and John are very friendly hosts, the accommodation is excellent (finally a B&B with a decent shower) and the location is good - walking distance from the Needles but...

Spent Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th May here. Leading up to our visit Sue was kind enough to research bike hire companies in the area and find me some phone numbers and prices, offering to assist should my partner not wish to continue the self propelled mode of transport I had in mind. Very accommodating, helpful and the place and...
