Susan was very welcoming and bent over backwards to make us feel at home. On requesting an iron she ironed my shirt. She left us notes on the door reminding us that the clocks went back that night and she served us up a great full English in the morning.

Very comfortable with a delightful hostess. We had a lovely breakfast. The cottage is well situated in Biddenden and would make a good base for country excursions in the area. I will definitely be recommending it to my family and friends.

Very comfortable double room in this listed 500 year old cottage, although tight for space in the ensuite - hand basin was smaller than the one in our downstairs loo at home. Charming hostess, excellent breakfast. Good pub across the road for evening meal. Handily placed for local attractions such as Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Bodiam Castle.

We were greeted very warmly by the owner of this gorgeous and charming cottage, our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was tasty, particularly the sausages! We were slightly worried before going as there have been some negative reviews but in this case we had a great stay and a very pleasant,... More

Fairly rustic. No internet. Shower basic and sloping bathroom ceiling means unable to stand upright if taller than 5.6inches! Bedroom fine ,unable to open any Windows though. Clean comfortable and well decorated. Small village ,no bank facilities only basic shops. Coffee tea facilities good. Food _I missed breakfast I m afraid.Too early really.

I recieved a phone call right away and the issue with rectified, we were given another room that was actually cheaper at the top of the house. The house was beautiful and clean, the... More

We stayed at this B&B because a friend was getting married at the church opposite. Location was perfect and very easy to find. I did however find Susan to be frantic and her attitude towards us was quite overwhelming at first. She likes to "be in the know" so best to send her an email beforehand detailing your arrival time.... More

We felt it was very expensive for a bed and breakfast. A nice room, very tiny bathroom with a hand shower, no toiletries , mirror far away from the sink, for ease of shaving. Saying that it was a very breakfast.

The cottage is very easy to find, in the main street, almost opposite the church. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, we slept very well and breakfast was also very good. The owner was friendly and attentive. Within a few yards there are restaurants in all price categories and even a local shop. For those (few) people coming by public... More
