Booked the hotel by chance as we were looking for somewhere in the area of Benenden Hospital for a couple of nights and it was a lucky choice. Our room was clean and comfortable, the food was very good and everyone was friendly. I saw one review that criticised the bar staff but the two lads on duty while we...

Totally relaxing. Friendly staff and very helpful staff. Lovely and relaxed. Good food. Very welcoming. Good choice of rooms to eat or chat. Good outside patio. Parking in the courtyard was fine. Right in the middle of the town. Mellow.

Have eaten at the George many of times with friends and family, always recommend to everyone whether it's a quick bar snack or a restaurant meal, great quality of food have recently changed their menu which is even better I would recommend the steak, such great quality! The only down side of this hotel is the bar staff, not welcoming,...

four friends meeting for lunch and a good chat! A little disappointed by limited choice of sandwich fillings (only 4) but what we had was great! Nice coffee and they were happy for us to sit and chat for a long while!

We stayed one night at The George and as a local tithe area we know the hotel over the years. The bedroom had a four poster double bed and was large and comfy with a large ensure and big bath. All the amenities were there including wifi etc. The manager was great and friendly and a real bonus to the...

Stayed for two nights and my partner and I needed Wi Fi. The George Hotel has the most appalling system. It makes you jump through hoops, D.O.B. give your email address and other details and finely when my partner was connected, the speed was very slow. These days when you can go into most bars or restaurants across Europe or...

We have by passed this many times. Usually go to the Italian opposite as we have dogs, when we visited it was raining. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, good service and good food. No rush to move on. A calm and accepting environment for the dogs.

Really nice hotel \ inn in a village high street setting, plenty of parking if you know how to park (not for the feint hearted). It appears to have been recently refurbished - but as with many old buildings it is an on going project our room was good, the odd fault but not worthy of comment at £65 inc:...
