We stayed here for one night and it was ok. It's fairly cheap and it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is - a budget room above a pub. The bed was comfortable, the sheets and the bathroom were clean and the view was pretty, if you dont mind the random piece of wood that holds the...

We sooo enjoyed the beer, and the veggy cottage pie and assortment of veg was one of the very best vegetarian meals we've eaten in ages... The atmosphere was uber friendly with exemplary staff and loverleee locals who entertained us with baby, dogs and very amusing banter... We knew prior to arrival, this pub had high ratings however all depends...

After staying one evening in another B&B (the Waterfront Hotel - 100m walk from the Kings Head) we decided to stay on for one more night in pretty Deal, and treat ourselves to a little more (perceived) luxury by moving to the Kings Head. It cost 40£ more than our previous evening's accom and boasted larger rooms and better facilities,...

Went away for a 2 nights stay at the King's Head and had a great time! Turned up 1/2 hour before booking in and the helpful and friendly staff immediately helped us with parking options! We were helpfully advised to book for lunch as we could see the bar was getting very busy! After we parked the staff told us...

We arrived in the afternoon to be greeted by the friendly and efficient bar staff, who showed us to our room above the bar. (Room 1). The room had to lovely beds and a new bathroom. We had dinner in the bar which was pleasant (I had the cod special) and stayed for the pub quiz! We had a good...

Room stank of smoke as all the smokers go past the stairs to the rooms exhaling there last puff ! Which stinks all of the rooms out ! Lovely old pub just don't stop the night ! Unless you can put up with the smell!

Room was ok - shower toilet kettle etc all worked fine. Pillows were useless & walls & doors pretty thin! (i.e. Quite noisy) Handy to be associated with the pub where the food and drink are good and service is pleasant. Good views from front bedrooms. Ok for a night but there are better options in the town

Not many places have both the perfect location and a great atmosphere, The King's Heads manages to deliver a great experience to match your expectations. Whilst it is justly popular and lively, there are numerous tables and great pub grub. The Fish and chips did the job perfectly. This was washed down with the delightful Kent beer - Spitfire. A...

We stayed at Channel view which belongs to the Kings head pub. There are 14 rooms in total and ours had nice view of the seafront. The room was a good size with a lovely modern bathroom, great shower, (if a little noisy) from the bedroom. The rooms and pub are in a great location and we had our breakfast in...

Each and every time I have been here, I am confronted with two things. - the bar staff look very busy which gives them plenty reasons not to serve you. I'm not sure what they are doing when they are not serving, but they definitely have better things to do. Punters, unless identified as a frequent regular, are not regarded...
