Waterside is independently run seaside guest house, it hasn't got all the mod cons of a big chain hotel, it has got the style of a boutique hotel charging twice the cost, it certainly hasn't got the homogenised look of budget style hotels. What it has got is a personal touch that is second to none, an enviable location, with...

Room was adequate and clean. The garden however is an exceptional treasure! I could have sat there all day (and did for most of the evening). Peaceful, relaxing and stunning view. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The location is less than ten mins walk from town centre and beautiful sandy beach.

We'd always booked Premier Inns on a weekend away, and they're always clean and professional, but they don't seem to have the personal touch. This is an old-fashioned guest house with a quaint charm, run by Ray and Rose, and we had a lovely weekend. We had a back room that looked out over the canal and the marsh. You...

The B&B we'd originally booked let us down and we found this one along the road, good find! Warm, comfortable room and bed. Slept like babies even though it's facing the main road. Breakfast was hearty and delicious and the proprietors were very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

I had a lovely view of the stream and fields behind the hotel. It was VERY quiet and I had a wonderful nap on arrival and a lovely nights sleep. The couple that...

Comfortable and clean room with beautiful views across the dyke and the open countryside beyond, at the back of the house.Excellent breakfast each morning although too much for me so had to cut it down a bit! Warm and friendly welcome as always. Good...

Located near Hythe, walking distance to the village, bars and shops. Room 1 is at the rear of the house with great views over the marshes, accommodation was clean but dated, breakfast great and terrific host, I would stay again if passing that way. Good location for walking and bird watching.

Stayed here whilst attending a family Wedding in Hythe. We had the family room, 2 adults and 2 kids. A decent size room with a nice comfy double bed and bunk beds for the kids, though the bunk bed was a bit small for our teenager. Nice and clean en suite with a nice shower cubicle. Breakfast was very nice...
