Called in here for the first time at lunchtime. Place is clean and typically done out as a modern gastro pub. On this occasion they had their 'Burger day' so I opted for a beef burger with chunky chips. Toppings are 50p per topping extra. Waited about 45 minutes for food to arrive during which time saw the chef chatting...

Four of us stayed for a night in a family room before catching the ferry next day. We were in a first floor room, and there was plenty of character - sloping walls and floors, creaky corridors etc - made a nice change from a prefabricated modern hotel. Everything was clean in our room, with a compact but practical en-suite...

We had a lovely time at this little pub which was a well-known smuggler’s haunt of yesteryear. The room was a hike up a few flights of stairs – no worries as we left most of our belongings in the car – but we were happy with it. It was clean, there were tea/coffee facilities, a wardrobe and a big...

A pub situated in its own ground, minutes walk away from Dymchurch village and St Mary's Bay. Nice landlords, and welcoming. Rooms very basic ( hence the low tariff) but clean. facilities to eat in. I needed an early breakfast on the Saturday, but they only started from 08.30. (You pay an extra £5)

The Ship Inn is a quirky pub, but that adds to its ambiance. Beautiful sandy beach just 5 mins walk away. Small bar relatively empty. Large restaurant where the food was excellent and cheap - On a Saturday 2 steaks and a bottle of wine (good) for £25. The room was spacious and clean, bathroom and toilet a bit small...

There isn't too much say, simply a friend and I were looking for a good pub for lunch with parking, we drove into the car park and went into the pub which was pretty empty. An empty pub of course is not a good sign but we were running out of time. The service was excellent with full marks for...
