My daughter and I ended up here quite by accident after a change in our plans that included staying in Kent longer. We just happened upon Ye Old Crown and they happened to have a room for us. In our entire stay in England (Almost a month) this is one of those places that made our stay an actual experience....

If I had to describe my stay in one word: enchanting. If you stay here, you are sure to meet some people I would describe as amazing -- in more than one sense of the word. I could go on, but I think it's really a place you need to experience firsthand. I can honestly say I will never be...

Our room was in the annex overlooking the court yard. Room was clean and comfortable and was glad that our radiator was working as other guests were experiencing problems. Could do with a bit of an upgrade as furniture looking a little worn. Breakfast was served above the main bar area. Small selection of cereals and the option of a...

It was a delight to stay in this lovely old former coaching inn. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good. Our downstairs room was clean and suitable for someone with limited mobility although would not be large enough for wheelchair bound. The only reason for not giving a 5 rating is that, with the...

Stayed here as its only 4 miles from lingfield race course where we were heading. Olde world pub with a good atmosphere. We stayed in an annex and the room was clean and well worth the amount we paid for the night. Only a shower but it was good, hot and powerful. The towels were plenty, thick and fluffy. Tea...

We stayed one night in a room in the annex. A very comfortable bed and pleasantly decorated room with a small bathroom. Staff very helpful. Enjoyed our full English breakfast which was beautifully cooked.

Stayed one night as attending a wedding at nearby Hever Castle. The pub is small and looks like locals use it. Rooms are just outside in the court yard. Clean spacious and suitable for our needs. The pub doesn't serve food unfortunately so we had to look in Edenbridge where choices are limited. The pub did serve breakfast which was...

We stayed for 2 nights while going to a nearby wedding, and thought this looked like a lovely place to stay. Sure enough the 15th (or perhaps even 14th) century timber framed building is stunning but the pub manages to be unwelcoming without being actually unfriendly. The first thing we were asked for when we arrived was payment in full,...

Shame such a lovely old building is not better kept. Our room 7 could do with secondary glazing as the road out is very busy. But I will say after 11 o'clock it wasn't to bad. The windows and carpet could do with a good clean. The bathroom was lovely not a problem having to share. The bed was very...
