I stayed overnight with my daughter in May 2019 - what a beautiful place. The accommodation was excellent. Our en-suite room was spotlessly clean, very spacious and came with everything we needed. The owner, Daisy made contact with me the day before to check what time we were due to arrive and gave us a mobile contact number just in case - and also asked what of the various options we would like for our breakfast on the day we were due to leave. Not only was this a B & B, but there was also a kitchen and washing facilities as well as a beautiful spacious communal lounge where we were able to sit and relax after we arrived. Breakfast next day was AMAZING, there was fresh fruit, fruit juice, croissants, cereal, fresh preserves, yoghurt and that was before our selected cooked breakfast. There was a plentiful supply of tea and coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for Daisy and her husband - we felt as if we were staying in a luxurious home from home. Starborough Manor is set in its own large gardens down a long private drive, the pictures do not do it justice. I would certainly stay again - and can only imagine what a special place this would be for any couple wishing a beautiful location to get married.

We had our wedding here in June 2018, in a marque on lawn. i can honestly say fantastic, Daisy and Clive had made us welcome when we first met them and been fantastic hosts. The grounds are just amazing and what made it more special they were part of our day. We hired all the b&b and some our guests stayed for the night with a lovely breakfast in the morning. I would love to give it more stars, and very highly recommend Starborough Manor for any function or just b&b. Thank you Daisy, Clive and family for allowing us to have our special day there.

I can't give 5 stars as I did not stay over and experience the B&B facilities. However, the wedding I attended was simply beautiful in a fabulous setting. The grounds are beautiful and what I did see of the room my grandparents were staying in, the rooms were so comfy. Emily is a lovely, kind lady. Thank you for hosting us.

My wife and I visited Starborough Manor for four nights last week. This was our second visit - see my original review dated 14 July 2015. In 2015 we stayed in the en-suite Yellow Room but, since this was already booked for two of our four nights this year, we stayed in the Blue Room which has two single beds and a private bathroom plus the bonus of wonderful views! All previous comments about the superb experience apply as well to this room.

We have just celebrated my 70th birthday with the family at Starborough Manor. We took all the bedrooms for two nights so had the place to ourselves. The suite was invaluable for having lunch on the Saturday and for somewhere to gather during the day. The setting is gorgeous, with lovely grounds for games, including a tennis court, which was well used. Our hosts, Lynn and Jonathan were happy for us to roam and use the garden freely and were always very helpful. The two grandchildren enjoyed the 'secret' den in the trees with a rope swing and makeshift walkways. The bedrooms were beautiful and all individually decorated. Beds were very comfortable and everyone commented on the quality of the bed linen. Breakfast was plentiful and various, including a cooked menu. We booked the beautiful dining room for our evening dinner, for which we hired an outside caterer, and again, Lynn made sure we had everything we needed. Lynn was flexible on timings on Sunday morning for breakfast and leave-taking. Even the weather was lovely and we spent quite a lot of time outside on the Saturday. So a great weekend - can't wait to return sometime. We heard no aircraft during the night, though it was noticeable during the day, of course, especially on the Friday afternoon/Saturday morning, as one might expect., but it did not spoil our stay.

Starborough Manor proved to be the perfect location for our annual school friends get together (7 ladies in our mid 50's!). Lynn and Jonathan are excellent hosts: relaxed, friendly and very welcoming, whilst maintaining very high standards. The setting is elegant, the rooms beautifully furnished with extremely comfortable mattresses, fluffy towels and lots of little extras to enhance your stay. We took over the self-catering wing, which was ideal for us all to relax together and prepare and share a meal in the evening and saved us having to venture out into the cold November night. I stayed in the Moat room in the main house, which was gorgeous with lovely views over the grounds and adjoining moat and folly. Lynn was very helpful during the booking process in advising on rooms, restaurants for lunch and places to visit. We are looking forward to our next visit!

After staying at Starborough Manor last year for a dressage course at Oldencraig I could not wait to return this year! I was not disappointed and Lynn and her family were wonderfully welcoming. The room was beautiful and scrupulously clean and I had a delicious breakfast of fresh berries and yoghurt. I'll be back again for sure.

We had a family wedding here and it was just the most exquisite venue. Lynn and Jonathan, our hosts, are wonderful people and their property is exquisite. Their attention to detail is superb. It is the first time I have stayed somewhere and found not one single thing was missing. Lynn has wonderful taste and the bed linen was divine. Breakfast was a feast and served in their marvellous kitchen. As a wedding venue it is just everything you could wish for. So much better than a hotel, being a private venue. The opportunity for photography is second to none. My new daughter-in-law, Jo of Pipers Florist, has provided many floral arrangements for weddings here and so it is a great compliment to Starborough that she chose this venue for her own wedding. Needless to say her wedding flowers were just unbelievable. I would recommend this venue for weddings, holiday lets and B&B. Just fantastic on all counts.
