I can't give 5 stars as I did not stay over and experience the B&B facilities. However, the wedding I attended was simply beautiful in a fabulous setting. The grounds are beautiful and what I did see of the room my grandparents were staying in, the rooms were so comfy. Emily is

My wife and I visited Starborough Manor for four nights last week. This was our second visit - see my original review dated 14 July 2015. In 2015 we stayed in the en-suite Yellow Room but, since this was already booked for two of our four nights this year, we stayed in the Blue

We were delighted to see you both again and thank you for your lovely review. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your second visit as much as your first, and that you were able to continue exploring the area, there is so much to see! I hope you will get another chance to come down south and stay with us again soon, though we may have competition with the arrival of your new little grandchild! We have just celebrated my 70th birthday with the family at Starborough Manor. We took all the bedrooms for two nights so had the place to ourselves. The suite was invaluable for having lunch on the Saturday and for somewhere to gather during the day. The setting is gorgeous,

Does Starborough Manor still offer B&B? My email enquiry got bounced back.
Thank you for your enquiry. I am pleased to tell you that we have a twin room, with ensuite bathroom, available from Thursday 5th March until Sunday, 8th March. The cost of the room is £140 per night, including full English breakfast. Starborough Manor is in a parkland setting overlooking Starborough Castle and moat, and is approached via a long drive, off the B2028, between Lingfield and Edenbridge. The English Tourism Council has rated us Five Stars, with a Gold Award. We have a separate sitting room, kitchen and dining room for our guests' use, if they wish, and breakfast is served in our kitchen. There is a £20 charge for the use of the kitchen, should you wish to stay in and cook, rather than go out to dinner. We have ample parking in front of the house. Please do not hesitate to email or telephone me if you have any further queries, or if you would like information about the area. There are many places of interest to visit locally, such as Hever Castle, Chartwell, Ightham Mote, Penshurst Place, Knole and Standen, and there are also lovely walks in the area. I should be grateful if you could let me know if you wish to book this room. I am pleased to hold it for you for 48 hours. A 50% deposit is payable to confirm the booking, which can be paid by debit or credit card over the telephone. We look forward to welcoming you to Starborough Manor. With kind regards Starborough Manor

"I loved the yellow room. Lovely decor and good views to the front. Huge bathroom."
"I can recommend the Yellow room on 1st floor, next to the sitting room and kitchen"
"If you can't climb a lot of steps opt for the room at the top of the stairs. That was enough climbing for us."
"Not a fridge in the room but unnecessary as a little kitchen for guests provided"
"Allow more than 1 day like we stayed to relax and enjoy the area."
