Only a few miles from Sissinghurst Gardens, at Wilderness Bed & Breakfast, guests can have the benefit of their own self contained accommodation and stay in either The Orchard Room or The Hopper's Room. Both of the rooms are separate to the 17th-century former farmhouse and having their own showers they are therefore ideal for long or short stays. We also have Bramley The Shepherd's Hut whic has been hand made by a local Kent craftsman in traditional style with its oak axles and metal wheels using original 19th century plans. No longer a humble hut for a shepherd during the lambing season it’s been brought up to date though as it is fully insulated from the elements with en-suite and high pressure shower, Wi-Fi and a fridge for your evening wine!

We stayed in the Shepherds Hut which was very comfortable and secluded. Our first time in a shepherds hut and it didn't disappoint. The hut had it's own shower room and toilet. A great breakfast was left in the hut. So many lovely little touches, Victoria and David have thought of everything! Great location and easy to get into Headcorn

Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a few days away in Kent. The property is quite easy to find using the owners directions. Located in a very tranquil part of the county this sets the scene for a great stay. Nice welcome and we had a lovely comfortable room which was well presented. Great cooked breakfast is taken in the owners' garden room. Lots to do and see in the nearby area. Very much recommended.

We spent 2 nights at the Wilderness b&b for a family wedding staying in the shepherd’s hut. It is a delightful location in a beautiful part of Kent. Victoria is an excellent host, she is friendly and welcoming but not at all intrusive. Breakfasts were delicious especially the apple juice from the apple trees in the garden. The shepherd’s hut is bijou and brilliantly designed with a kingsized bed meaning that even my 6ft 4 husband slept soundly. I would highly recommend it. We hope to return soon.
