I stayed at this hotel when on a business trip to Margate. Although the room was small it was clean. The problem was the noise. The room was located at the back of the hotel overlooking the courtyard. People were using this area for smoking. As the night progressed it became noisier and my patience ran out at around 1am,...

I do apologise for your stay. I understand there is no excuse for the bar being opened until late with this level of noise, and I would like to assure you this was done without my consent and has subseqently been dealt with. Please contact the manageress at manager@crescentvictoria.co.uk to discuss any issues you may have, and to see if...

I can't praise the staff here highly enough. My wife left a dress behind that she really loves. Mary at the hotel was so helpful and accommodating, suggesting couriers we could use and so forth to get it back. Thanks, Mary!

Room was beautiful. Staff were lovely, really couldn't do enough for you. If you're going to the Winter gardens, giveth is place a go. You'll never stay anywhere else again. The manager even bought me a pint because there was a delay with the starters even though I insisted we were in no rush.

Refurbished hotel with quite a modern look and feel behind a victorian facade on the sea front in Margate just past the main drag of shops. We had a room at the back with the view over an attractive courtyard available to guests in better weather and a less attractive yard to the right. Our room was very small -...

We made a last minute booking & thought that it looked interesting, with great Decor & excellent reviews. Upon arrival we were not disappointed. Outside the hotel instantly stood out in the street with its fresh paint & lovely lighting. Inside was all really well presented & the front of house staff were very welcoming, friendly & couldn't do enough...

This is an excellent little hotel with friendly staff in a great setting. The decor is wild but wonderful and strangely peaceful rather than garish. Excellent breakfast. Margate Itself is run down but up and coming and this hotel is near to the best bits. The Turner gallery is fantastic and free and the Ambrette restaurant is brilliant. All in...

We stayed here in September when we came for the Bugged out weekender, whilst the Reception to the Hotel is quite small we instantly received a warm welcome, we found the Hotel staff really friendly and helpful and the room itself (Room 1) was beautifully decorated and was spotless with a lovely big bed and a fan above the bed...

Stayed for one night in October. We were visiting Margate for the first time and were surprised at how run down Margate was. However, we then found this hotel and the old town, which were both delightful. We had a lovely room on the top floor, overlooking the Winter Garden. The only gripe would be the over-powering plug in air...

An absolutely lovely hotel in Margate right on the seaside. Right across the street from Winter Gardens and easy walk to the city center. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, with unique decor. Poor Internet but we didn't need it much. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was amazing. Cannot recommend enough.

This hotel is made of two five-storey Georgian town houses joined together. It has been recently refurbished by a very good designer, who has made the rooms extremely comfortable and at the same time beautiful, restful and stylish. You travel down to the basement to have breakfast, which was for the most part very good. The views from the front-facing...
