We stayed overnight on a trip to visit the vineyard. Our room was lovely, beautifully furnished and lovely extra touches such as freshly ground coffee and freshly baked biscuits from the kitchen. Very quiet and comfortable night's sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. Staff were superb. Breakfast was lovely. Will definitely re-book when back again.

Let's start with the niggles. Bed not the best you will use. Carpet and flooring of a poor standard in some areas of room ( we did not pay extra for a better bigger room). However, very clean and the complimentary trimmings ( I'm a sucker for white company) were appreciated. Good water pressure and temperature making a warm bath...

Stayed here with friends a couple of weekends ago on a walking and wine tasting trip. Excellent accommodation, lovely rooms, good breakfast and excellent value for money. Would definitely visit again.

I arranged a lunch for twenty people with a fairly tight timetable. We pre-ordered and the food came out promptly, exactly as ordered and perfectly cooked. It was enjoyed by all. Previous lunches at the White Lion have also been enjoyed. I plan to go again for Sunday lunch this week!

We were fortunate to be offered the Smallhythe room on Saturday evening. Duane was amazing and nothing was to much trouble. The room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Becky in the evening was delightful and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was gorgeous and cooked to order. I cannot think of one negative thing to say. It...

7 people for Boxing Day lunch. Great food, fantastic service and a lovely cosy relaxed atmosphere. We could not have asked for more. 2 of us are vegetarians and did not really fancy the sound of the set veg meal. When we asked beforehand if it could be changed it was no issue at all and the alternative was absolutely spot...
