Just returned from an amazing few days at the London Beach Hotel. Great welcome by the friendly receptionist. Large bright and spacious rooms with superb balcony and stunning views of greens and ponds, made more wonderful with the red sunsets. Continental breakfast was fresh, nicely laid out and had a good variety of foods. The pool and hydro and ladies chill out area was very clean and very relaxing and we ensured that we used it each day of our stay. It was so lovely to see all the guests enjoying their stay and chatting to other guests but mostly it was the warmth and friendliness of the wonderful staff that made such a good impression. A very homely hotel that is dog friendly and seems to have an indulged, loved cat as a permanent guest which just shows what a cosy and caring ambience the hotel has. I have already recommended this hotel to family and friends and am planning another trip there asap. Well done to all the team at London Beach.…
We did like it here, We have stayed 3 times, the views are lovely, staff helpful, The spa is also lovely. The Rooms could do with updating but that wouldn’t stop us staying. However sadly- We were disappointed with the food choices this time round with a set menu (very limited choice) and no longer a cooked breakfast. We went into town for our evening meal, and stopped on the way home for breakfast.
I have been to London Beach Hotel several times with friends and families. I have always recommended this place because the staff are friendly, the spa is clean with less people. Being vegetarian the chef made us delicious food, as if we made it at home. The rooms are reasonable size and were clean. I would definitely go there again.
We stayed here because it was convenient to local things we wanted to do. We also didn't use the Spa so I have no comment on that except the pool looked very nice. Firstly the good things. Great view in a quiet location off the road. The staff were very good, friendly and attentive and the room was clean enough. However, we arrived to find the safe locked, the TV remote missing and the telephone not working. The decor of the whole hotel is really poor and in need of modernisation. The room was quite poor with shredded curtains, patchy ceiling and grubby wallpaper. The walls were a bit thin too! The balcony could see straight into next doors room. The bathroom looked like it was put in in the 1980s. The food was no more than pub grub and the breakfast buffet was lacking in many ways. I think for location and friendliness it is really nice but the rest lets it down considerably so I could only award an 'average'. B&B was not cheap here. A bit of investment on modernisation and improving the meals would make this hugely attractive.…
