We took a spur-of-the-moment drive to Whitstable on a Sunday. Didn't find too many places to eat anything let alone a pub roast. Got lucky when the Duke of Cumberland had some cancellations in its restaurant, got taken to a cosy restaurant out back of the pub, toasty warm and complete with candles. You get a choice of 6 different...

Very very dog friendly, their Tapas, served from Wed to Sun, I believe, either in their restaurant or bar, is the best. They just keep chucking beautiful dishes at you and if you can't eat it all, they bag it up so u can take it home. ( breakfast or the dogs, haha)

My boyfriend and I stayed here as we were watching a gig in the pub. The pub has a great interior as well as a cute beer garden with bird feeders and plants growing. The staff are all very friendly and helpful too. The room upstairs was well designed and really clean and tidy. They provide tea/ coffee making facilities....

We decided to have a drink in here and it's a really lovely pub. We did go during the day so unsure what the night time would be like. The staff was friendly and polite. There is lots of things to look at from old radios to art work. The beer garden is really nice plenty of chairs and tables...

We visited with our family and this pub was very welcoming allowing the children to sit with us and play table football on a brilliant old fashioned table tennis table. Early evening this is a fun place with a good atmosphere....it looks like there is live music later. A great place and great location.

We stayed just one night at short notice with our baby and were delighted. This place is great value for money. We stayed in room six which had plenty of room to have the cot up and move about and several windows so that we could have a nice cool breeze circulating. Room itself is a bit tired in parts...

I've been here more times than I can count. Service is always prompt with a smile and the food delicious. Occasional music nights complement a rather nice venue in Whitstable. The menu, whilst rather basic, is cooked well and the presentation very nice.

Accommodation options in Whitstable are pretty limited (and expensive!) so you could do worse than stay at this centrally located hotel. We paid £80 for a double room (including breakfast) on a Friday night, Bedroom: Bedroom was in fair condition, I do think it's a bit rough around the edges and could do with re-carpeting and also a really good...
