First impressions from outside we're good, lots of parking and nice location out of the way. Upon entering I noticed a musky smell like mildew, as if washing had been left out damp to dry. We checked in and our room was dark and smelly with very dated furniture and bathroom. Other rooms we visited were better, ours and another...

When we stayed recently the rooms were very dated and in need of redecoration. The bedding smelt musty and there was a large cobweb which looked like it had been there for months. We couldn't tell you what breakfast was like as the chef failed to appear. The staff were very apologetic but when you pay for something you expect...

My daughter got married here on Sat 7th of September. What a fantastic day, made all the better by Debbie and all her team. It was seamless due to their sterling efforts. The hotel has been modernised to a good standard. The food was excellent and all the guests have been phoning to compliment the hot Gala buffet which was...

Awful. Don't go. Mould in bath. Lovely 70s avocado decor - mm. Artex ceilings. No handles on bedroom doors. Poor service. No breakfast table laid, though when it was cooked for me it was ok. Foul mouthed "guests" in bar at the end of the evening. Hotel wouldn't allow me to use credit card for purchases under £10. Need knocking...

We attended this venue for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. And as some of the reviews say what a lovely day until you join the karaoke in the other bar. We joined the other wedding guests into the bar where all was pleasant for now. We eventually sat in the lounge area to get a bit of piece...

We had our wedding Easter weekend in the barn, for 26 guests and it was brilliant. It looked lovely, classy and elegant-just what we wanted. The grounds were great for photos. The meal was really good and the tables decorated beautifully. Debbie and Mark did everything to make sure we were comfortable and everything ran smoothly. When the night do...
