I regularly stay in hotels on business, but this has to be the worst nights sleep I've ever had. The hotel was cold in the downstairs communal areas and restaurant although on a bonus the food was good and at a reasonable price. The bedrooms have no windows, only a skylight so when it rains (which it did) it sounds...

We have visited twice in the last 2 weeks, once for a private social event that was held there and once to stay for the night whilst at another event elsewhere. The social event was quite large with about 140 people all having a 3 course sit down meal with choices. Personally I am gluten free and they had no...

Went to the gin and tapas night last night, excellent food and entertainment, wonderful value at £20 per head for 3 tapas and 3 gins with mixers each, we had the whole tapas menu selection bar one and they were all excellent. Well done Sparth House, will look forward to future theme nights.

My arrival was late and the way to summon the night porter was by calling the hotel on its phone. He duely arrived and my allocated room was top floor, to which he escorted me without, sadly, the offer of help with my bags. The room was spacious and clean. The basics were there and appreciated; beverages and toiletries. The...
