Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have stayed here previously with my boyfriend and it was outstanding, the most amazing place I have ever stayed at in my life so I decided to come and stay here with my friend. Yet another, unbelievable experience from start to finish. Such a unique and exceptionally clean place with so many little extras that make it so special. The hot tub was out of this world, and the Yurt we stayed in was so so warm on such a cold night we couldn't believe it. We have already booked again before we even arrived home. Thank you so much, it's credit to you and we cannot wait to be there again. Would highly recommend !!

A perfect weekend break with my grandchildren and friends .We stayed in the Mayflower Yurt and my friends stayed in the Bluebell Shepherds Hut. Everything I needed was available in the Yurt, which was warm and luxurious .We also had a fresh water hot tub ,which was amazing especially has the water was changed daily ,no chemicals,it was heated by logs the children loved stoking the fire . The separate bathroom was amazing and inviting, plenty of very hot water.Looking forward to going again

An anniversary trip to Little Oakhurst was a delightful 2 days away...The Ivy shepherd's hut was unbelievable. Beautiful location and excellent facilities all topped off with an amazing hot tub. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you love the outdoors with a twist. Comfy double bed, huge shower and kitchen facilities make these huts a home from home....Thanks Little Oakhurst we loved our stay..😁👍🏼

Perfect for a quiet weekend away, especially for couples, perfect scenery, you get to see alpacas on the land as well as many other animals. They also have a fire pit if you’d like a bbq or fire of your own, the hot tub was my favourite, it is sheltered so you can use it no matter the weather, and the view from it is just amazing.

Although I only stayed one night in the Ivy Hut, I couldn't fault it at all and was beyond what I had expected. Very peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break. It was comfy, clean, and equipped with all the basics needed for a great stay. The hot tub was fantastic, very relaxing with great views over the valley, with a total sense of privacy despite the other hut and yurts in other corners of the field. I'd definitely recommend it, and would love to go back for a longer stay.

Had the most perfect 2 night stay in the Ivy Sheperds hut which has all you would need. It was clean, well equipped with comfy bed and excellent shower. The hot tub was amazing with lovely views. The site is very peaceful and you can totally relax. It is also very private even though there are other units on the site. Joanne is a very good host and took the time for us to meet the alpacas and the calves just before we left. It was good to have some insight into her life on the farm. We could not fault it and were lucky to have lovely weather. We left very happy and totally relaxed and look forward to going back in the future.

Such an amazing weekend and a great experience for our first time camping! My two daughters (11 & 15) and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were lucky to gave perfect weather so we could use all the facilities- hot tub, outdoor eating and the campfire. The kitchen was really well equipped and the fridge was a good size. We didn't order any hampers but theh looked fab! The little shop for those bits you have forgotten saved us on the first night! Just remember a sleeping mask if you aren't fond of being woken up by the light mornings! 😉

Absolutely perfect in every way, stayed 2 nights in Dandelion Hill yurt for my birthday, easy to find, clean, cosy, had all amenities, including shower gel & shampoo, all cooking equipment etc, all we needed was our clothes to bring. Booked the fluffy robes and towels which included one each for the hot tub and the additional Ploughman's platter and breakfast hamper for 2 was to die for, locally sourced and so tasty! Joanne was a fab host, showing us how to work the hot tub, where to get the additional wood from and couldn't do enough for us. Although there are 4 yurts there is lots of privacy and you wouldn't know anyone else was there. Can't wait to return.

We stayed in the mayflower tent and it was so warm and cozy! The children just loved it! It was a perfect weekend and we can't wait to come back! Thank you so much! We will definitely be telling all our family and friends about it! Amazing!!

After coming last summer for my belated birthday weekend away, we decided to return on the 3rd March and once again we have had the most lovely stay! We opted for the Ivy Shepherd’s Hut, the companion hut to Bluebell which we stopped in last time, and once again our expectations were completely exceeded. Whilst Bluebell had some lovely amenities, Ivy included a built in heater in the sleeping space with an even larger bed this time! The most outstanding feature was the double balcony doors, that really show off the most incredible views of Pendle Hill. The hot tub was just fantastic once again, with a log burner to heat that does take a while to warm - but with the most eco-friendly method of heating it’s well worth the wait! Ivy even has a built in electric hob in the kitchenette, which heats so quickly - perfect for those bacon butties the morning after one too many beers 😅 We really could not recommend Little Oakhurst enough. When I posted on my social media accounts about our stay, so many of my friends took an interest and said how beautiful is is - but pictures do not do this place justice. If you want a quiet, private and serene stay then Little Oakhurst is perfect for your needs. Again, nothing is too much trouble for the host Joanne and all of the Little Oakhurst team. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we shall definitely be returning again. Love, Curtis and Lucy x
