We stayed at Little Oakhurst for 3 nights and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The views are beautiful and there are so many walks on the doorstep. The hut was amazing, gorgeous décor and the heat and pressure of the shower was incredible, especially given you're in a field, better than many hotels we've stayed in. If you are looking for some peace and tranquillity in the countryside, with a few cosy comforts (hot tub, great shower, well equipped kitchen and a really comfy bed), then this is the place for you!

What a fabulous place to stay! We originally got lost trying to find the place and phoned the owner who stayed on the phone and directed us (so friendly, helpful and patient)
On arrival we were overwhelmed at how beautiful the site is, surrounded by the most breathtaking scenery.
We stayed in Mayflower yurt, it has everything you need, is beautifully decorated and every little detail has been thought out!
The bed was comfortable, there is a log burner (not needed as weather was nice) but also an electric heater if you needed to just take the chill off without lighting the lights burner, an electric kettle with good quality tea and coffee, a lovely jug of fresh milk in the fridge, chairs for outside the yurt.
Outside the yurt is a decked area where we sat drinking our coffee each morning looking over Pendle Hill and the beautiful scenery, there was also a firepit with seating round, a picnic table where meals can be eaten.
The bathroom is stunning (separate building next to yurt), we had a roll too bath, sink and toilet, all spotlessly clean, pleanty of toilet roll provided and again high quality hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and body wash!
The hot tub as great, it’s a wood burner one and heated quickly, you get enough logs for a couple of hot tubs and more can be bought if needed on site!
The cooking area has everything you may need, a sink area to wash up in, so plates, knives, forks, spoons, pans, cups, spatulas, etc etc!
There is a double burner camping stove with grill for toasting and pizza oven attachment!
There is a very informative information booklet in the yurt telling you everything you need to know and as I said the site owner is lovely and said always available if we needed anything!
I can not recommend this place highly enough! We loved our stay and will hopefully be returning very soon.
There is so much to do in this area, beautiful walks, amazing restaurants, traditional pubs.

Absolutely perfect in every way, stayed 2 nights in Dandelion Hill yurt for my birthday, easy to find, clean, cosy, had all amenities, including shower gel & shampoo, all cooking equipment etc, all we needed was our clothes to bring. Booked the fluffy robes and towels which included one each for the hot tub and the additional Ploughman's platter and breakfast hamper for 2 was to die for, locally sourced and so tasty! Joanne was a fab host, showing us how to work the hot tub, where to get the additional wood from and couldn't do enough for us. Although there are 4 yurts there is lots of privacy and you wouldn't know anyone else was there. Can't wait to return.

Booked the Dandelion Yurt with my daughter. The place was immaculate. I anticipated that stopping in a yurt would be cold. We had a log burner, electric blankets and a radiator so didn't need the heated blankets that we brought ourselves. There's a bbq, kitchen area with all the utensils that you need and a seperate unit just for our yurt with a loo and shower. The log fired hot tub was great and my daughter enjoyed feeding the alpacas. Food packs can be bought directly if you want and there's a little shop that you can stock up with bits. The owners are really helpful with any queries you have. Hope to visit again soon!!

My wife and I booked Mayflower yurt for 2 nights having not been on holiday for the last 1.5 years. I wished we had booked this much earlier! The other yurt and Shepard's hut were booked at the same time but as the ground is huge, it felt very quiet and private. The view is amazing, even better in the hot tub! All cooking utensils were provided and Joanne was extremely generous with the BBQ, cheese board and breakfast pack. We bought some food with us but the packs intended for meals for 2 could easily feed 4! The minifridge fit most of the food but Joanne also kindly refilled our ice packs for the cool box provided. The alpacas were cute (but stubborn)! I look forward to returning. Hopefully all the positive reviews will mean that Little Oakhurst isn't fully booked when we can visit again.

Stayed in the mayflower yurt on this amazing site the yurts are very spacious and offer everything you need for the ultimate glamping trip the bbq and kitchen area is fab and the hot tub wow!! Joanne has everything covered from utensils to cooking oil and shes very happy to help with anything you may need. The little honesty shop Is great and everything is very fairly priced we didn't have cash but Joanne was happy for us to get what we needed and then straighten up at the end of our trip which was great. The views are second to non the yurts are so spacious and comfortable and the little added bathroom is wow!! The bath was amazing as was the hot tub and really easy to work. The little cakes made by nanna on arrival was a really lovely touch and we had pre ordered a breakfast hamper which was there on arrival and was delicious. We got rain on the second day which is typical british weather but the yurts are cosy and we didn't mind sitting and watching the rain fall across the best views will most definitely return to this little piece of heaven. Thankyou to Joanne and her family for a lovely stay.

A perfect weekend break with my grandchildren and friends .We stayed in the Mayflower Yurt and my friends stayed in the Bluebell Shepherds Hut.
Everything I needed was available in the Yurt, which was warm and luxurious .We also had a fresh water hot tub ,which was amazing especially has the water was changed daily ,no chemicals,it was heated by logs the children loved stoking the fire .
The separate bathroom was amazing and inviting, plenty of very hot water.Looking forward to going again

If you are wanting an escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life this place is perfect. Based on a working farm just outside of Clitheroe , the only noises to be heard are the moo’s of the resident cows, with beautiful views over towards Pendle Hill .
We stayed in the Mayflower yurt and upon opening the little wooden door (remember to duck) was greeted by a stunning and deceptively large room complete with a comfy double bed, log burner, fridge for the beer and a lovely piece of homemade chocolate brownie.
Outside there is a separate kitchen area and bbq area as well as a lovely little shepherds hut which serves as the bathroom. A stunning roll top bath greets you, I wasn’t brave enough to leave the double doors open as I bathed even though you could see right across the valley. There is also a log fired hot tub for further relaxation just behind the yurt.
The farm is on the Tolkien trail which is easily accessed from the accommodation. Maps are available from t’little shop. We did the walk following alongside the rivers Hodder and Ribble. The walk, eventually, takes you to the Shireburn Arms for a well deserved pint or two. We also had a bite to eat which was lovely and much needed after our walk. Following on the trail past the college you quickly end up back at the farm.
Jo, the wonderful host, had kindly filled the hot tub and loaded it up with logs ready to light. After a much needed soak in the hot tub you can sit and star gaze as the sky was really clear.
Going back to the wonderful host Jo, she was so accommodating and friendly. She even showed us around the new shepherds hut , Ivy. It was absolutely stunning and I’m pretty sure we will be back to sample this amazing hut.
Both Jo and Farmer Andy, who we met briefly, were lovely people who obviously take great pride in Litte Oakhurst and why shouldn’t they. Beautiful location, lovely facilities, tranquil and very friendly cows. Genuinely nothing negative to say about the place, a place that you can relax and enjoy life. 10/10

I have stayed here previously with my boyfriend and it was outstanding, the most amazing place I have ever stayed at in my life so I decided to come and stay here with my friend. Yet another, unbelievable experience from start to finish. Such a unique and exceptionally clean place with so many little extras that make it so special. The hot tub was out of this world, and the Yurt we stayed in was so so warm on such a cold night we couldn't believe it. We have already booked again before we even arrived home. Thank you so much, it's credit to you and we cannot wait to be there again. Would highly recommend !!

We stayed in the dandelion hill yurt for a long weekend at the end of August. Joanne and here family could not have done more to make us feel welcome on their farm and comfortable in the yurt. The location is idilic peaceful with panoramic views over Pendle Hill and the surrounding area.
We pre-ordered the pizza oven and extra logs for the hot tub. Pizza evening with the family was a great experience and followed by a beautiful relaxing evening in the hot tub watching the stars and a meteor shower.
The yurts are very comfortable with the whole family sleeping very well. There is plenty of good walks locally and places to visit.
I thoroughly recommend staying here to chill out and look forward to visiting again next year.
