Wife: 'Can I have a Bailey's coffee please?' Waitress: 'Yes, I'll get that for you now'. ...5 minutes goes by... Waitress: 'Sorry, we don't do Bailey's coffee. We can do you a coffee...AND a Baileys'. Wife: ... Me: ... Food is tasty, well cooked, and well presented, but carrots don't belong in a steak and ale pie. Service was polite,... More

This was my second visit to this delightful establishment in one of the most prettiest of villages that I have ever stayed in. Waddington is an excellent and ideal place as a base for walks in the Trough of Bowland and the Waddington Arms complements the village in everyway. On arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly professional young... More

I've written previous reviews on the Waddy Arms because it's now 38 years since our first visit. It's located in the beautiful village of Waddington with lots of excellent walks and villages to visit in the local area or, you can shop in Clitheroe where most of the shops are independents (try Byrne's wine merchants they have 248 different gins).... The staff at The Waddington Arms were absolutely delightful, friendly, helpful and really keen to make our stay memorable. Whilst our room was not the largest I have ever stayed in it was well equipprd with all the necessities. Just one small problem, because of the layout at the top of the building, we had rather a lot of light... More

Lovely little Lancashire village, wished I'd had more time to look around, the Waddington Arms is a proper, old inn with stone walls and beams, booked online, wasn't expensive for B&B. Two minor moans, arrived to discover that the online booking is transferred by human hand to their booking diary and they had put me down for the night before!!... More

Visited to celebrate Ruby Wedding as we had our reception there when it was the Sun Inn. Had one of the the worst steaks, and most expensive I've ever had. small, very fatty and full of gristle. Portion sizes were very small. Disappointing.

We stayed the night before a friends wedding. Arrived around 9pm. Taken to a room which was meant to be ours but someone had been put in there so had to wait till another room was confirmed. Seemed a little odd as not too many rooms! The party had booked them all out! This, delays in food though not busy... More

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights whilst attending a family wedding at nearby Mitton Hall. Arrived tea time on Bank Holiday Monday when the place was heaving, but still got a warm welcome. The hotel is really an old village pub/inn with updated rooms to a good standard. Although very busy all the staff were very helpful... More
