My girlfriend and I stopped coming to the Shireburn about a year ago, as the food quality had slipped. We recently gave it another go (26/1/18), and it hadn't improved. The service time was quite a while, about 30 minutes for our starters to arrive....More

Visisited as a couple each had seperate meals and both were very tasty and lots of it. Staff very professional and friendly we would certainly visist again no hesitation, lovely setting and oldy worldy pub/hotel

Shireburn has excellent accommodation but this other accommodation in the village or nearby Clitheroe.

I'd say not very convenient access. The bar and main dining room would be fine but the access the rooms we stayed in is up narrow and quite steep stairs.
