Great food. We have been coming to this hotel since the 1990's. I remember the wedding party of Nicola Bradshaw to Craig Dolderson. The food was high class and the entertainment was first rate. We never stopped laughing. Nicola had invited her friends from America. He was in charge of research and development at Tampax. Well understandably I couldn't help... More

This was our slightly delayed 41st Wedding Anniversary dinner, the day after our daughter's wedding. We chose Northcote as it was halfway-ish to Glasgow (to see my 96-year old Mum) from London. We had seen Nigel (chef/owner) on TV as a judge in The Great British Menu and once we researched Northcote, felt the location was right. We had booked... More

Northcote trip advisor Hotel of the Year ……and for a very good reason. Just been treated to a night in the Garden Lodge ….and what a beautiful and spacious suite it was – luxury upon luxury – we could have stayed for a week. Then across to the restaurant for our gourmet dinner …and didn't they look after us. Course... More

Have not stayed here for over 10 years but were in the area and made a return visit. Its changed a lot, much bigger, but oh still so lovely. Slightly tricky finding the front of the hotel in the dark, and a totally unpretentious front door it is too, you would hardly know you were entering such a sumptuous hotel.... More

We stayed recently in the new wing of the hotel. The room was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. It had everything we could possibly need. The bathroom was also very large and stunning. We had a beautiful meal and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.

I am lucky enough to stay in very nice hotels on business and this for me is on a par with a Four Seasons. Super friendly staff. Warm and welcoming. Standard room is deluxe. Super clean even to my ocd standards. Food is out of this world and portions are small and delicate. Perhaps not for large appetites. Veggie menu... More

Great hotel in a great setting. The bar area is very warm and hospitable. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good with an even better view. I would recommend this hotel for a short break or a business trip. Scott

We had a very nice time returning to Northcote!!! Although we have stayed many times in the past we have not stayed for about seven years.... In the meantime we have lunched and dined irregularly. We are on their mailing list. There was no recognition of us as having stayed or dined before however our welcome was warm and informative.... More

There is nothing to dislike about Northcote, from the super efficient check in to the Michelin star food and service it is all fabulous. Yet again we were very impressed by every member of staff we met and those we didn't meet that create magic in the kitchen. We enjoyed it so much last year we stayed for 3 nights... More
