Dropped in here en route to Whitewell. Service was very friendly and efficient and the food was good. Very large portions and reasonably priced. Recommend the slice of steak pie which was excellent. Lovely location

Lovely old fashioned pub- good service - food fine.
Unfortunately our meal in the pub was shared with dozens of black flies.
It appears there has been a problem for the last few weeks.

Whilst we found the staff to be friendly and helpful, the pub itself is in need of some updating and improvement. The rooms are dated and well worn, although clean.
