Nice hotel between Standish and Chorley with a health club on site, food and service good. Be aware that some bedrooms are not in the main building with a 2 min outside walk to breakfast . Dog friendly.

Overpriced overpriced not worth it. Food wasn't up to a great standard for the price you paid. Was pretty disappointing compared to the last time I went. Ruined a perfectly nice meeting with friends. Food under cooked

Absolutely lovely day courteous staff rooms very nice. One word of warning just check numbers of guests and make sure you order enough food for your evening guests as we ran out...when we asked for more we were told the kitchen was closed.

Stayed for two nights when the weather was less than perfect. The log fire in the reception was a welcome treat. The decor of the hotel was exceptional throughout and the room clean and well presented. The pool and spa was very inviting and clean with staff who were very helpful. All staff were very friendly and were keen to...

My friend and I decided on a well needed girls day. As we used to work for Mancdonald spa in Manchester at the begining of our career, we thought it would be lovely to visit the Spa at Kilhey Court. We paid £39 for a '25 minute' back massage and use of the facilities/robes etc. However, we only received approx...

This hotel is in a great countryside locating with a lovely walk to the rear of the hotel around the lake and through the forest. We walked this on Christmas morning. The hotel is full of character with a welcoming log fire in reception. Bearing...

The old part of the hotel is very nice. If you are in the new part you may as well be in an aging travel lodge. Poor sound insulation means that it is not ideal for sleep and you can hear the quiet alarm in the next room as well as the TV etc. Bathroom had lots of mould on...

I chose to stay at Kilhey Court because we were meeting up with friends from Southport before we drove back down the M6 South. One of the friends has a hip problem and uses a walking stick. The hotel has little disabled facilities, almost every part has to be negotiated by stairs! Even the front door! No disabled toilets on...

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your comments with us. I am really sorry that you have struggled with the amount of stairs in the building during your stay. Our main part of the hotel was build in 1884 and unfortunately there is a little amount of adjustments we can make, however my team is always happy to assist in...
