Relax in our recently refurbished lounge and bar with a wide range of bar snacks and drinks or enjoy Afternoon tea in the Drawing Room whilst taking in the surrounding gardens and woodlands. We have lots to offer, whether you are meeting friends for coffee and cake, enjoying Sunday lunch with the family, staying over for business or a relaxing weekend away. We have several conference rooms for meetings from 2 to 400 delegates, please ask for details. We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies and have stunning gardens for your photographs. Smaller receptions may take place in the main Hall, whilst for the larger weddings we have the Pavilion marquee.

I find it very sad that people feel the need to leave such reviews when they have not stopped in the hotel in question. Your opening line of "i should have read previous reviews" totally throws doubt onto your review - if you had looked at our past reviews you will see why we have been awarded Trip Advisor Travellers' Choice 2020, putting us into the top 10% of their hotel.

Had a fantastic stay at Scalford celebrating our dog Marley’s 15th birthday!! Very warm welcome!! Lovely to chill with drinks in front of the fire! Room was spotless! Marley had bowls and treats on arrival and a sausage of the breakfast bar when we checked out!! Will definitely be back! Thanks so much!!

First off, I must compliment the staff who were so helpful and knowledgable. The building and surrounding area is stunning. The breakfast we had was lovely. The staff all adhered to the social distances rules and there were hand sanitizers and a one way system in place to ensure the safety of guest. Will definitely stay again. Thanks for such an amazing stay.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Reception set out safely and reception staff perfect. Our room was amazing. As unable to do evening food have us contact details of pubs\restaurants in close proximity. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Thank you to everyone working so hard to make our visit perfect 👍💓

Bearing in mind everything that is happening with the Covid situation at the moment we have just had a fantastic weekend getaway at the Scalford Country House Hotel. The place itself is a grand building set in lovely well kept grounds. The staff where very friendly, helpful and informative regarding the building and the area. The restaurant was only open for breakfast, which was cooked to order off a reduced menu, but there was plenty of it and very tasty. The room was very clean and tidy, just re-decorated with updated bathroom, the extra large bed was extremely comfy. Can't wait to return when fully open, very nice indeed.
