Clean and friendly place, staff helpful great breakfast, on site parking available, bus stop 1 min away that goes al around Grimsby & Cleethorpe's. Lots of places to eat and great beach walks. Typical old fashioned seaside town, plenty for the kids to do.

Fantastic guesthouse a definite must. I am an extremely hard person to please. I like my food hot not lukewarm, I have a terrible issue with cleanliness and I like to deal with happy proprietors not miserable ones. This place delivered all that and more. This is my first time here as my daughter has just moved to the area. The owner was more than accommodating, very friendly, very informative of the area and nothing was too much trouble. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean, modern and my room had everything I needed, the bed was comfy too. Superb full English breakfast that was delivered hot and tasty every time there was also a choice of other items. Originally booked for 3 nights but have extended for an extra night, I would have done more but I have other commitments. I would certainly recommend this guesthouse and I'm not surprised the proprietor has returning customers, I will be one of them.

What a little gem this place is. We arrived mid afternoon. We were pleasantly welcomed by Michelle who showed us to a tastefully decorated and furnished en suite bedroom. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, you immediately feel at home. Parking is not too much of an issue as it is just outside the main area of cleethorpes, but not too far out to walk in to the centre or sea front. Breakfast is taken in the front room downstairs. There is fruit, yoghurt and cereals on the side, you just help yourself. We had the full English. All the food is good quality. My hubby had a cafatiere of coffee, I had a pot of tea. A lot of thought has been put into this establishment. For example, the room has plenty of plug sockets and a mirror close by which makes it easy to dry your hair. Not many places think about little things like that. A small drinks fridge is also provided, which is a nice touch. I would recommend the aristocrat to anyone thinking of staying on the coast

Myself and my girlfriend, went here on a whim, glad we chose this place, we were greeted by Michelle, who took us to our room, and we were very pleasantly surprised by how clean and fresh it all looked, nicely decorated throughout, lovely soft bed, with en suite shower room, washbasin and wc, all clean and tidy. As you could expect. We only had one minor issue, which we reported to the hosts, which they said they would address as soon as they could, but overall our stay was enjoyable, the breakfast was very fulfilling, no complaints from us as regards to this guesthouse. We shall be returning again.

Amongst the hundreds of B&He's in Cleethorpes, this little Guest House can be regarded in the top percentage. The hosts are most welcoming on arrival and as soon as you walk into the hallway you get 'clean', that smell of a place that you just know is a good, well looked after place. There's enough room outside the Guest House for two cars off road and other spots with a minimal walk to the door. Michelle and Dave have a great little place here and when shown to the room, the theme of clean continued, with a great little en suite, with double bed, which was so comfy and all the things you'd expect to find, like tea and coffee, hair dryer etc. There's plenty of space to hang your kit in a modern wardrobe and to put your small's in the matching deep drawers. Shower gel and hand wash can be found in the bathroom, with a reasonable shower and soft towels to boot, decent loo seat as well (not sure why I added that, but some places...!) After a good night's sleep, down to the dining room, set for 3 rooms. Cereals, fruit, yoghurts are there from 0800 and no sooner have you sat, then Dave appears asking "tea, coffee" and he'll take your order for full English, or a selection from that, plus you can go continental. The food is spot on and you're always asked if you want anything else. This is a B&B/Guest House that does what it says on the tin, great food, lovely room, lovely hosts and just a short walk to the Pier and beach

A perfectly placed B&B, a five minute walk to Cleethorpes seafront. Room was quite small but very clean with wi-fi, TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a very comfortable bed. The couple that run the place are very polite and sociable and will attempt to cater for your every need. All in all nice place, nice people (owners) good location and a very pleasant 2 night stay. RECOMMEND.

Didn't realise when I booked it was Avalon Airshow Weekend, hence the high rate for a dated, daggy but clean motel room on the outer limits of Geelong. $150 for one night with no features. Nice bed, shower might be an OH&S issue, step up shower small triangular recess, narrow entry with sliding door, 14" step down on to tiles, if wet, slippery and dangerous, no hand rails, fairly quiet but grotty, cigarette butts strewn about everywhere. Nice staff but parking down the northern end is an issue. Dated, daggy, old carpet, has potential, but we've paid less for better. Compendium doesn't give instructions for aircon, (basic needs for guests). It's out of the way but close to Waurn Ponds proper for shopping and food, some places deliver.
