Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a last-minute find. My friend and I took a last minute twin room after struggling to find somewhere to stay nearby. Maria was very warm and friendly, the place was immaculate, and the breakfast was divine. Thank you so much for making a tough couple of days just that little bit easier. Will definitely be coming back! 🌱☕️

Lovely welcoming owners. Beautiful bedrooms stocked with everything you might need. Very comfortable beds, great shower room, breakfast menu to die for, sea /promenade within 2 minutes. On street parking. Their recommendation for a restaurant was perfect - Funny Onion, 5 min walk away. Sarah and Sue

Really nice B&B. Decor was lovely and room clean. Ample parking on the street directly outside. Good range of choice for breakfast and food good quality. Host was really friendly and attentive. Rooms had lots of the nice little extras like a good biscuit, ample good quality hot drinks and mini toiletries.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast Great Hosts My wife and I stayed at Cloves Boutique Bed and Breakfast for two nights. Maria and Nick were great hosts and nothing was too much. Maria greeted us and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Cloves Boutique B&B is spotlessly clean throughout, our room was immaculate. The Cloves is situated just a short stroll from the seafront. Maria gave us a fantastic breakfast menu, which was befitting to anything you would find in a 5 Star restaurant, well done. If we stayed longer we would have certainly tried some of the other great options on the menu. Cloves Boutique B&B is one of our two favourite places to stay in Cleethorpes. The weather was a bit of a let down, despite this, it did not stop us from having a lovely time. We would definitely recommend this Guest house to family and friends We would without hesitation love to return. Thank you from Stan and Deb

Just stayed for the night at Cloves B&B in Cleethorpes, it was excellent. 5* for the double room, breakfast and fabulous hosts. It was very home from home with lovely touches. Will definitely be back. A shame they couldn't add some sunshine to the weekend! Sue & Jeff 🙂

Found this absolute gem on booking.com , I was born here and we still have relatives living here which sometimes we stay with but it’s not always suitable, but so happy we did as I would definitely recommend it and would be giving 5 stars for everything about this place , from the hosts to the rooms and the little touches, water , biscuits , tea and coffee facilities, the breakfast was so beautiful and fresh we loved staying here and would definitely stay again

A beautiful b and b on a quiet residential street with ample free street parking. Beautifully presented - room was so gorgeous that I’ve taken lots of photos for our bedroom at home! Yorkshire tea, lots of milk and a crummy shortbread topped up daily. As for the breakfasts - the Lincolnshire was a firm favourite with the husband and the Mediterranean with the edible flower was just beautiful. Please book and go / it’s first class with wonderful hosts - thank you

We had a fantastic stay at Cloves B and B! Maria and Nick are excellent hosts, providing stylish, clean comfortable rooms less than one minute walk from Cleethorpes seafront, where these days lots seems to be happening from the Great Grubfest to the International Festival. The breakfast menu is varied and always delicious! An exceptional B and B! Highly recommended .

I booked this boutique b&b going by all the pictures on the site . It certainly didn’t disappoint. Maria is one of the friendliest people I have ever met . I booked the single room with a private bathroom along the corridor. Which wasn’t a problem as I was provided with the fluffiest dressing gown . All the little touches provided was really nice especially the shortbread and the hot chocolate. What can I say about the breakfast, fabulous choice . If any fish dishes are wanted these need to be chosen the night before. I chose the Salmon with scrambled eggs . Oh my god - it was amazing and the presentation. I can’t fault this place . It’s immaculate and would definitely stay here again if visiting the area again . Thanks for an amazing stay
