So glad we found Greetham Retreat. Just what we needed a chance to switch off for a few days in beautiful surroundings. A very friendly welcome from Jeanette and Rob was just the start. Everything has been thought of to make you stay comfortable and easy (dishwasher tabs, USB charging points, sandwich box - to name a few.) And to make it even better the weather was amazing. Thank you Jeanette and Rob hopefully we will be able to return.

We very much enjoyed our stay this bank holiday weekend in Maggie’s Mews. It is beautifully appointed with everything you need in place plus a complimentary bottle of wine. The owners, Jeanette and Rob were very welcoming and helpful and maintain the grounds to an incredible standard (even regularly cleaning up the geese poo from the grass paths!) We felt very safe with the COVID-19 safety measures in place - enhanced cleaning, mask wearing in communal areas and track and trace QR codes. Four of us stayed for a long weekend as we were visiting our parents/grandparents who we’d not seen since late 2019 due the pandemic restrictions. Greetham Retreat offered a ‘home from home’ and a base to explore the area. We visited Horncastle for its antique shops, Louth for the market and historic church (with resident peregrine falcons!) and Red Hill nature reserve for the cowslips and wildflowers. We will certainly return!

Had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Greetham. Cottage was comfortable, immaculate and fully equipped. The views from the cottages are breathtaking and the sun shone the whole time we were there which was a bonus. We had lovely walks with our dogs straight from the door. Would definitely return at some future date.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this positive review. You were one of the first guests we had staying here at Greetham Retreat this year following the lockdown now that we are allowed to open for recreational and holiday stays. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in our self-catering accommodation and enjoyed the surrounding Lincolnshire Wolds and its glorious views. We feel we are perfectly situated for anyone keen to get away from it all.... You are most welcome to return whenever you can find the time. Thanks, and see you again soon.

A new adventure for us, we travelled to the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds, and as we arrived at the Retreat we drove up the immaculate gravel drive. Finding our pitch number for our motor home we already knew we would be safe and secure at this beautiful site. Our instructions for arrival were clear and precise, with the current situation it made us feel comfortable, using our on board facilities prevented any un necessary complications. As promised, Rob welcomed us, in a socially distanced manner and in the pouring rain! His knowledge of the local area was amazing, and was willing to answer our many questions, mainly about RAF history. We spent 3 days here, and wished it was more, we will undoubtedly be back. We woke to a sunny day and visited Woodhall Spa, in the evening dining at Petwood Hotel, of Dambuster fame, the 617 squadron. We were seated on the terrace looking over the stunning gardens, dinner was good value and most enjoyable. Before leaving we visited the Squadron bar, with memorabilia from another age. Although the next day was very windy and wet, we walked the 3 or so miles to Horncastle. Rob had given us information about local areas, coffee shops, restaurants and a number of interesting places to visit. The information room was full of maps and places to see. The last day travelling back to Lincoln we stopped off at The Bomber Command exhibition, a place close to my heart. We still have a a huge number of things to do, and where else would be better than this to stay.........we loved it! Thank you Rob and Jeanette.
