Stayed in Wendys Wing. Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean. Furniture, bedding etc all very good quality. Lovely welcome pack. The whole area for both cottages and caravans is beautiful and well kept. Would highly recommend it. Easy access to Lincoln (we used the Park & Ride) and many small towns & coast. Shakesby's Restaurant in Horncastle is very good. We will be returning to Greetham Retreat.

What a gem! We had a fantastic long weekend in Katie's Cabin. Spotless accommodation, comfy beds, lovely welcome pack and so well equipped. The grounds are beautiful with a wildlife pond and woodland areas that have plenty of seats to just sit and relax and take in the views . The weather was even warm enough for us to be able to use the outside patio area. So many things to do in the area and the owners Jeanette and Rob, gave us some great suggestions too. The information room has plenty of ideas for days out, walking or bike rides locally. This was our second stay at Greetham Retreat and we'll certainly be returning again.

A lovely family holiday spent in Katie's corner and Maggie mews for Easter. There was 10 of us ranging from 64 to 2 and everyone was happy. We had a great Easter egg hunt around the grounds and lots of playing outside. The cottages are spotlessly clean and there is everything you could want. We had a full Sunday roast and there was nothing we couldn’t find to use. The views and wild life are lovely to see. Our 2 dogs enjoyed it to. We will be back. Thank you Rob and Jeanette for a lovely stay.

The cottages (we stayed in Katie's Corner and Maggie's Mews) lived up to every bit of their website's description - truly clean and luxurious in a stunning countryside setting! Rob and Jeanette have thought of everything necessary to make a holiday home feel like home! A change in our plans brought 90-year-old great-grandad to us at short notice and promptly after arrival Rob had supplied us with various aids for the elderly - such thoughtfulness and friendliness has to be beaten. Super hosts who are keen to make the stay a memorable one.

Thank you so much for your review regarding your recent stay this January on our small (5 pitches only) touring caravan site here at Greetham Retreat CL. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and managed to recharge your batteries a bit, following the busyness of the Christmas and New Year celebrations. We offer quite and relaxing holidays both on our CL site and in our luxury holiday cottages all year round. We look forward to seeing you both again soon. Thanks again for your lovely review...

We arrived on Xmas eve to find a delightfully decorated small tree in the lounge and a bottle of Prosecco to light up the Christmas festivities! As a returning couple the loft was a perfect venue and deceptively spacious with its own private access. It has excellent internet, TV and cooking facilities should you need it. We didn’t, as the plan was to enjoy eating out. Great Xmas lunch at Shakesby in Horncastle ( which we actually walked to and plenty others during the week including the not to be missed Admiral Rodney! ) and then a return to Market Rasen races on Boxing Day. The Trinity Antiques ( in a church setting in Horncastle ) is well worth a visit. We had previously visited Greetham in early autumn and hired bikes ( delivered) which enabled us to cycle to Woodhall Spa along a cycle route on the old railway. Can thoroughly recommend Rob and Jeanette’s location which has a lovely walk in and around its own nature reserve.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Greetham Retreat, staying in Rose’s Rest with my partner and our dog Franko. We wanted to escape the NYE fireworks as he gets very scared and can guarantee a very quiet, relaxing stay. The accommodation was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed and Jeanette was really helpful and welcoming! The treats for us and Franko were also lovely. Great walks on the doorstep and the beach is only a 30 minute drive away! Thank you for having us :)

We've just returned from a week staying in Katie's Corner with kids, dogs and Grandma and it was as fabulous as ever, think we are on our 5th visit now. The accommodation is spacious, super clean with everything you need should you want to cook. Ground floor bedroom with en-suite is perfect for those who struggle with stairs and our girls love the bright bedding which gets put on to their beds. Courtyard area is a real sun trap, perfect for an early morning coffee before heading out for the day. Great being able to walk the dogs (on lead) around the lake with dog waste bins dotted discretely around the site. One of our dogs is very friendly but that also means there can be some excited barking so it's great that there are a number of paths that you can walk along so that you can keep your distance. The last walk before bedtime with them is amazing if the skies are clear as with very low light pollution the stars are fantastic to see. Also great to hear the owl. Rob and Jeanette are fantastic hosts, providing a warm welcome and it's the little touches, such as the bedding for the children, treats for the dogs and wine for the adults which make them stand out. Plenty of places to go sight seeing, fantastic beaches within 30 mins drive, a number of them being dog friendly, same goes for pubs, the George and Dragon in Hagworthingham is a favourite of ours. Can't rate Greetham Retreat enough, we always come away feeling relaxed and reenergised and hope to continue visiting for many years to come.
