Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Although only for one night, this was just such a lovely stay. Liz could not have been more friendly and amenable. She has a beautiful home with large, spacious, well-appointed rooms in a quiet location, yet close to Horncastle where I needed to be. She provides a wide variety for breakfast and her homemade ginger marmalade was delicious. There just wasn't a jar left on her shelf to buy! Hopefully I'll be back another year!

Lovely welcome - with homemade cake! Property is in really quiet rural location. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Breakfasts are smashing with local produce (Oh those sausages - wonderful) and homemade marmalades and jams [could not resist taking a few jars home with us]. Thank you again, Liz, for all your help and information regarding the area, and most of all for looking after us so well.

We have had two stays at At Last recently, 9 nights in total. This says it all! A lovely, tranquil house in a beautiful situation and a super welcome from Liz. We had a twin room with en suite, all very clean, plenty of wardrobe storage, hospitality tray, delicious Parkin cake one day and flapjack another. Very varied choice of breakfasts. Extremely helpful with local information which we appreciated.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst Officiating at Cadwell Park. I got a warm welcome from Liz. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. I had excellent breakfasts, which were served early enough so that I could get to the circuit on time. All in all an excellent stay and I will definitely be back the next time I am at Cadwell Park.

We can only echo the sentiments of other five-star reviews. Liz is a splendid host in every way and really puts the 'welcome mat' out. On arrival, there were two generous portions of home-made marmalade fruit cake to have with our coffee. Our ground-floor room had a king-sized bed, and a lovely en-suite shower room. Everywhere was tastefully furnished and immaculate. There was a comfy sofa on which to relax and a large wardrobe. Breakfast in the dining room was first class and Liz's home-made ginger marmalade was so delicious that we bought a jar to take home with us. The house is in a tranquil rural setting, though only two miles from Horncastle. As it was late February when we visited, along the quiet road through the hamlet of Edlington, the verges and woods were carpeted with snowdrops which were a joy to behold. The room had a wall-mounted flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and the free Wi-Fi worked well. There is ample car parking within the grounds of the house. My wife and I hope to return at a future date.

Stayed for one light prior to competing at an event at Cadwell Park the following day. Wonderful welcome - even helped us find the property by coming to the end of the driveway with a torch ( for reference, when you have convinced yourself that you have missed it, drive a bit further down the lane!) . Spotlessly clean room with en suite, comfortable beds and lots of nice little touches - including bottled water and some delicious fresh lemon drizzle cake. Only about 15 minutes from Cadwell Park so an ideal location.

I stayed at this lovely B&B with my sister and niece over the past weekend. What a beautiful house in a fabulous setting. The rooms were all very spacious and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable which is a big thing when you are away from home. Our host Liz was lovely, she made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to everyone's taste. We will definitely be back. Can't reccomend highly enough!

A warm welcome from Liz, the whole house is so clean. My bedroom was enormous, with a very comfy king sized bed, with beautiful bedding. Bath and shower again, spotless. Fruit cake, home made i think it was very nice and fruit in the room along with quality tea, coffe and biscuits. Everything you need was there. My sister and daughter also had rooms and they were equally as nice and clean. Breakfast had everything you could wish for and was very tasty. Home made jam and marmalade so nice I bought some to bring some. Liz is a brilliant host. The house is set in such a tranquil setting all you can hear are the birds outside. Definately booking again next time we are down for the weekend to visit our family.

Upon arrival we received a lovely friendly welcome and were shown to our spacious room, which had a lot of little extra touches which made it that bit special. The bed was large and comfortable. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious, with plenty to choose from and our sausages and bacon were top quality, together with homemade jams and marmalades. The accommodation is situated in a rural area, which is what you want for a peaceful rest. Thanks to our host Liz, who was great. Fully recommended and would visit again.
