This was our first trip since lockdown and it was well worth the wait. It is a beautiful and special gem of a site with lovely owners. We can’t wait to go back one day! We felt at home and wished we could stay for longer. From the Longlands.

We have just arrived back home after our 2nd break at this lovely quaint caravan park with Covid restrictions in place. Heather & Martin have worked extremely hard to ensure their visitors stay is as safe as possible. There's hand sanitiser placed throughout the site and 2 metre signs placed around the grounds to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to. The amenities are spotless with cleaning products supplied. My husband is disabled and we both felt reassured and safe. Well done Heather and Martin, looking forward to our next visit all ready!

We found Acorn woods last year on passing. We were show around by the lovely owers and promise we would go. So this year we stay for 2 nights and liked it very much went back for our anniversary for another 4 nights. What a great little camping place this is. Small field with room for a few motorhome/caravans and room for a few tents. Very quiet and peaceful with a lovely path way leading to a small lake where you can go fishing if you want for £5 a day, you can walk around lake watching the fishing and ducks or sit in the summer house or on decking. In there is hot drinks for you make a fridge to keep your beer cool. Nice sofas to sit on and chat to others. Books/DVD to borrow. The campsite has just 2 bathrooms (unisex) these have a lovely shower which is one of the best ive used.there also a a indoor washing up sink. Everything is very clean and looked after. We recommended if you're never been you must try it. The owers are very friendly and helpful. Well done Heather and Martin. We be back soon.
