Detailed Reviews
Alex made us welcome from the start and was on hand if needed. The room was compact but clean, with a comfortable bed and had lovely touches, such as tissues, milk, biscuits and mints. The shower room had large soft towels and toiletries.
There was ample private parking behind the premises, which is covered by cameras, so Alex could see when we arrived.
We opted to have the continental breakfast. Alex showed us how to work the coffee machine, and provided newly boiled eggs as well as a wide variety of cereals, fruit, juices, yogurts, breads and spreads. A veritable feast!
We would recommend Riverside to anyone wishing to stay in the area. It is a really reasonably priced gem of a guest house!

Just returned from a 2 night stay, a perfect location for exploring Lincolnshire!
Helen is a lovely host and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived.
There is ample parking, our room was great with comfortable beds, toiletries provided, fluffy towels, tea and coffee etc... everything you could need.
Breakfast was amazing! A choice of fresh fruit salad, cereals, toast and the biggest cooked breakfast I'd seen with bacon and sausages from the local butcher (wish I'd taken a photo!!)
Would recommend for anyone looking for to visit Lincoln (which is fabulous) as the train is £10 return! So no parking or traffic to worry about as you can walk to the station...
You are also walking distance to the town centre with many nice pubs an restaurants and Sainsbury's is only steps away if you need anything

My sister and I booked two rooms when visiting family nearby. I chose the Riverside based on the positive reviews and its location. We weren’t disappointed with our choice. It is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of the town and has its own off-street parking. Our rooms were beautifully clean, as were the en suite facilities. The host, Alex, is a really nice guy and repeatedly checked we had everything we needed. For reasons we completely understand, on the day, Alex couldn’t offer a cooked breakfast, but no matter, the non-cooked option was our preference anyway and the wide range of choice available was excellent. We booked directly with Alex which was hassle free, and he responded quickly to a couple of questions we had in advance of our stay. Given all of the above, along with the excellent value for money Alex offers, we’d happily return again in the future.

We stayed for one night (18/9) whilst we were visiting my 93year old aunt who is in a nearby nursing home. We arrived mid afternoon (after a nearly five hour non stop drive) to a very friendly reception. The owner was going to put us in an upstairs room but when he saw my walking stick he immediately put us in the only ground floor room. The two essentials with any stay are cleanliness and a comfortable bed. No complaints there. Continental breakfast was included. Is it value for money? In every way.

And having a car park is a must in Sleaford 5 min walk into town. The only critisism is that he is too cheap gor what he provides. See.you again Derek and Judith Trotter

This family run business really is a hidden gem. Heidi was an amazing and attentive host, who runs a clean, well decorated and charming guest house. The room was of a good size, modern and bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and would highly recommend to anyone. Will be booking again in May.
