Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed for one night (18/9) whilst we were visiting my 93year old aunt who is in a nearby nursing home. We arrived mid afternoon (after a nearly five hour non stop drive) to a very friendly reception. The owner was going to put us in an upstairs room but when he saw my walking stick he immediately put us in the only ground floor room. The two essentials with any stay are cleanliness and a comfortable bed. No complaints there. Continental breakfast was included. Is it value for money? In every way.

Had downstairs room which was supposed to be accessible, bed wasnt very big, bathroom was tiny and shower so small and in need of replacing,no air con but understand its in other rooms, breakfast was only continental so passed and went straight home, felt quite uneasy as owner kept appearing every time we went out of room as he was watching on cameras, even appeared at back gate when we parked.

A lovely B&B which is immaculate. Breakfast offered was a continental which looked very good, but we ate out. The bed was really comfy and the shower was great, nice and big. The room had proper air con in the room and not a fan pushing warm air, a big plus point in my opinion. Car parking is good, room for 6. The owner is really friendly and helpful, we will be using this B&B for future visits.

A great find - very competitively priced - I booked direct and paid £50 for a single room with en-suite and continental breakfast included. Just a few minutes walk from town centre with private parking. I had a ground floor single room - very clean, comfortable, had everything I needed. Enough supplies for making hot drinks, toiletries, treats, TV and free Wi-Fi. The whole environment of the guest house was very clean and welcoming. For continental breakfast there was a good range of breads, cereals, fruit and drinks available and I was able to help myself at my leisure. Alex was a great host, committed to providing a great customer experience and I will certainly be booking here again.

Alex has done a lovely job in making this little back street b and b feel special. The team have really tried to add little touches and details to make the experience positive. The location to.town is perfect, as is the parking. For the price, this is as good as it gets. Bravo.

My sister and I booked two rooms when visiting family nearby. I chose the Riverside based on the positive reviews and its location. We weren’t disappointed with our choice. It is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of the town and has its own off-street parking. Our rooms were beautifully clean, as were the en suite facilities. The host, Alex, is a really nice guy and repeatedly checked we had everything we needed. For reasons we completely understand, on the day, Alex couldn’t offer a cooked breakfast, but no matter, the non-cooked option was our preference anyway and the wide range of choice available was excellent. We booked directly with Alex which was hassle free, and he responded quickly to a couple of questions we had in advance of our stay. Given all of the above, along with the excellent value for money Alex offers, we’d happily return again in the future.

Alex's b and b is lovely Imaculate.in.every way. Breakfast was amazing cooked to.order. great shower and real cosy bed. His.attention detail is second too non. And having a car park is a must in Sleaford 5 min walk into town. The only critisism is that he is too cheap gor what he provides. See.you again Derek and Judith Trotter
