This is the third time we have stayed at the Traddock. The food has always been good but this time very different - for the good - there was no problem getting a good vegetarian alternative for our second night stay. The rooms are understated and comfortable but with attention to detail and very cosy.

Very Cosy Posh Bedroom A place with lots of character but not very friendly receptionist I have a feeling she was not in a mood to work I would have thought the proprietor would have made our stay a bit special for a big day Not even a Cake with a candle or glass of bubbly Was a bit disappointed

Great, friendly hotel with a really special feel about it. Makes a great base for couples weekend away. Good is one of the best things about the place. Always something different to tempt you, and always superb. Love the breakfast. Great walking opportunities, regardless of level of fitness or mobility. Booked a 2 night stay at The Traddock in the pretty village of Austwick and was not disappointed. Arrived late afternoon, welcomed by an open fire which gave a very cosy feel to this lovely property, greeted and made very welcome by Nicky on Reception. After been shown around, we were delighted by the room we were given, with open...

We have visited the Traddock about 6 times now and never been disappointed. On our most recent visit in March 2017, the staff were, as always, attentive and helpful. It has a wonderful relaxing feel. All of the rooms are lovely, but our favourite is Room 9, the suite. The food is excellent, well presented and tasty. The evening and...

I stayed for 1 night whilst away on business. It was like a mini break away, beautiful room, lovely bed and such wonderful staff. Breakfast was delicious and served with a beautiful tableware, really classy. I am coming back for a proper stay to explore the countryside around Austwick.

We stayed for one night in March on a DBB + cream tea break. There is very little that can be said that is not positive regarding this hotel. It is situated in Austick which is an extremely pleasant village. From the minute we arrived the staff were attentive, creating a relaxed atmosphere. It is guenuinely like home from home....

Stayed for 2 nights with friends. We had a beautiful luxury room with a super king size bed, extremely comfortable! Loved lots of hot water for the bath in our room to soak in after long walks. Food was delicious. A really fab luxury break and so close to Yorkshire's beautiful limestone country

We had a fabulous meal here. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant was cosy and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault any of it. The restaurant was busy but the atmosphere still intimate. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return. Apparently the dining room was being refurbished the day after our visit. It...
