After reading previous mixed reviews before attending Westholme Lodges, I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived on a dark Friday evening. Upon checking in we were offered complimentary bread and milk and then headed off to our home for the weekend. The lodge itself was clean and tidy with a modern home feel about it complete with microwave, large fridge-freezer...

Had the pleasure of visiting Westholme this weekend and from start to finish it was exactly the relaxing and quiet get away I needed. Turning into the Estate and rounding the corner to see a simply built and understated reception building combined with restaurant, bar and ice cream place was a lovely surprise. Decor in the bar/restaurant was fresh and...

We stayed at these lodges in Dec 2016 , when we arrived it was dark and first impressions weren't good . We decided to use the hot tub but there were no steps to get into the tub and it was quite dangerous to try and climb into tub without them , as the decking and outside areas were extremely...

We were a group...

We first went to westholme about 5 years ago, and have been many times since. The first time we were in a Maple cabin and loved it, it was modern, clean, was warm and comfortable (despite the weather) and the hot tub was great. The second time we were in a Cedar VIP, and it was even better! Smaller, but...

Came away for a nice week away with the dog. The no signal wasn't an issue! ( coming from two 20 year olds ) just would walk up once a day to get wifi. Was such a beautiful place. Although in the last few nights their was an awful smell coming from the bathroom from the drains. We complained and...

On arrival in the dark this place is quite poorly sign posted. And the site is very dark if you haven't been before. Checked in by a by a nice lady and told vaguely where the lodge was. Went to go find it but many of the lodges are not numbered. This in the dark makes it difficult as a...
