Just stayed for two nights with friends and had the best time, made to feel very welcome, lovely pub, great rooms, everything you need including a very comfy bed and gorgeous en-suite. Would definitely recommend eating in the restaurant, excellent food and friendly service, also top notch breakfast. Visited Hawes, (Wensleydale Creamery) and Masham (Black Sheep Brewery), both worthy of...

Lovely bar but not much choice of beers. I like to taste the local stuff but they only really had bitters on tap. Didn't eat here but it was fully booked so I imagine the food is tasty. Decided to visit a different pub after our walk rather than revisiting this one.

We stayed at this hotel just before Christmas for one night. On arrival we were greeted by the perfect host and owner, Heather. There was a really good selection of real ales in the bar, which I sampled prior to being shown our room. Regarding the room, it was very comfortable and nicely presented. The bathroom was huge, with double...

We wanted a friendly, Dales pub - not high-end but good quality. Dog friendly with walks from the doorstep. The Aysgarth Falls Hotel completely fits the bill - & not a big Bill either. We were a birthday group and started with a couple of sharing boards (charcuterie & Yorkshire). Lovely choices on these Boards - just a shame we...

I hesitate to review this hotel again following our latest stay... for fear it will become too popular! Stayed here previously in the summer and used it to break our journey between Sussex and Aberdeen. This time we booked both a one night stay on our journey up and a similar overnight for the return journey. Once again we were...

The Aysgarth Falls Hotel Wensleydale is one of the most iconic dales in Yorkshire with its many footpaths and lanes to explore the wonderful countryside of which we have enjoyed walking for many years. The weeks before Christmas can be hectic so an away day was planned around the wonderful Aysgarth Falls on the River Ure, we have in the...

What a gem this place is. From the moment you step in there is a great welcoming atmosphere, and you know you've made the right choice. The food was superb and there's a great selection of ales and wines. We stayed in the dog friendly rooms adjacent to the hotel with the most comfortable bed and beautiful en suite with...

Had an amazing lunch here today with my husband for our execs Xmas meal.... It was faultless from start to finish.... The staff were polite and helpful, the food was awesome, the ambience and surroundings perfect, and the food outstanding.... I had a Chicken "pie"... a creamy mix of tender chicken breast with leeks, mushrooms, pancetta and tarragon topped with...
