We stayed for a little weekend away and was made to feel very welcome. The breakfast is really fantastic and the owners can't do enough to help you. Very comfy and clean room. Only a 5 minute walk from the centre of the village with great little shops and pubs. Just wish we could have stayed longer to see more...

Although the weather was disappointing, we still had a lovely time in Hawes. The owners of Fairview, Gordon and Barbara, could not have been more friendly and helpful, the house was lovely, well furnished and very comfortable and breakfast was outstanding. We will certainly be back in the future.

Had an absolutely wonderful weekend, Barbra and Gordan were brilliant hosts. Couldnt ask for more. Rooms were impeccable, with tea and coffee facilities. Magnificent breakfast selection. Lovely kind and friendly couple whom made us feel welcome and at home. Fairview guest house is definitely the best B&B i have ever been to. A weekend to remember!

It's always pot luck when you book B and B but on this occasion luck was definitely with us. The facilities are first class and the owner such a friendly person. Everything was spotless and nothing too much trouble. The rooms are spacious we could not fault anything. We shall certainly be back.

We had a lovely short stay at Fairview in Hawes for two nights in September on our way to Scotland. We received a warm welcome from Gordon and Barbara in a nice location with every comfort. Lovely Wensydale breakfasts with plenty of choices. It was wonderful having the sheep auctions to see and many sheep in the fields to look...

Just back from my 7th stay in Fairview in Hawes. As usual I enjoyed the excellent customer service, the warm welcome and homely accommodations. The proprietors go out of their way to look after their guests. The price is excellent too.

We stayed in August for a couple of nights whilst attending a college reunion. We received a warm welcome and felt at home immediately. The Fairview was extremely well situated being just a few minutes from the centre of Hawes. Our en suite room was large and comfortable. There was a great variety of choice for breakfast and my only...

Stayed at the Fairview for a couple of nights recently. Can't fault it! Nice location, lovely house, very comfortable, owners couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly, and as for the breakfast - you must try the Wensleydale full English. Nearly forgot - very good value for money.

Day 7 of Pennine Way (S to N). Located fine for access from Pennine Way, and to visit Hawes central. Single room, was well laid out with a good view. Bed fine. Room had a basin with H&C. WiFi good. Separate shared bathroom - with excellent shower. Hosts helpful. Excellent breakfast. Would return, for certain, but with an en-suite room...

Fairview is a very clean, very well run guest house. Barbara & Gordon are friendly hosts. Nice touch was the plate of fruit scones on the chest of drawers on the landing. Breakfasts were served piping hot on very hot plates and very nicely presented. Ample parking. Downside, could not get Apple devices to connect to wifi - although android...
