Pottergate is a wonderful B&B. Barbara keeps the house lovely and includes a delicious breakfast. She took care of us. Offers a laundry service for a small fee and the clothing smells remarkable when she returns them. She is there for your every need. After a long trip we sighed with relief when we settled into her care.

Pottergate is a very warm and homely place to stay. It is an exceptionally clean and welcoming accommodation and handy for the centre of Richmond, which is only a short walk away. This place was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a very comfortable and clean place to stay with great service, this is such a place.

Immaculate and well appointed, quality linen. Very helpful owners pointed us to the right resto. Great breakfast, big public car park out the back. You can pay time and it carries onto the next day. Free between 6pm and 8am. Would use again.

I had a 2 night stay here on business, and it perfectly met my needs. Barbara was an excellent host - nothing was too much trouble. I had a comfortable bed in a clean, warm, cosy room. The bathroom was clean with good amenities. If visiting Richmond again I would definitely stay here given my experience.

The owner is very welcoming and the location is superb... plenty of places to eat and drink are nearby and a Lidl store is 5 minutes on foot. I'm in a double, very spacious and the bed comfortable. The room is nothing to write home about, but the bathroom is superb... bright and large. I'd stay here again for the location and the bathroom!
