We've been to Robin Hoods bay a few times but decided to have a few nights here as it's such a beautiful place, We chose West Royd B&B and what a great choice we made, lovely place to stay, great Victoria building, run by Gaynor and George, made us feel very welcome as soon as we stepped inside, fantastic room,...

Once again we are back at West Royd. We (myself, hubby and dog) were made welcome again. This time with dietary problems, but, not a problem for Gaynor, she had everything in hand, quite easily sorted. Even though I had taken gluten free foods, she was prepared and had everything. Brilliant. We had a lovely 2 night stay, though breakfast...

We have visited Robin Hoods Bay time and time again over the past 35 years. Love all of it - especially the great pubs and the fact that it is dog friendly. We normally camp but on this occasion we could not get the tent up due to strong gusts of wind when we arrived. We decided to have a...

Clean, comfortable, quaint, cracking breakfast perfectly cooked, ideally situated. £75 a tad steep, only drawback. Robin Hoods Bay is a vintage gem a 15 min drive from Whitby, definitely worth a visit. Would definitely recommend West Royd as a place to stay 😊

The bus to Whitby and Scarborough stops across the road and there are a few nice pubs and restaurants within walking distance( one excellent one right next door!).Gaynor and George are lovely people and are very helpful with directions, bus timetables and even weather...

Impromtu decision to stay another night on the East Coast, and found this little gem of a B&B. Gaynor wasn't in when we enquired but after ringing the mobile number that was left, Gaynor allowed us to view the room before we decided to definitely stay. Even though we didn't have a reservation, Gaynor accommodated for my gluten intolerant girlfriend...

West Royd is a nice enough b and b. Breakfast very nice and room although small was clean and comfortable. A little on the warm side so had to leave windows open. You get a free parking permit so that is a big help. What I didn't like was there was a dog allowed in the dinning room at breakfast...

George and Gaynor were excellent hosts at this small and comfortable bed and breakfast near shore of Robin Hood's bay. This was an excellent alternative to staying in the larger Whitby. The room was quite comfortable, though without a view. The breakfast was very nice. Overall, a great stay!

What a lovely stay at this beautiful Victorian B&B. We were warmly welcomed by Gaynor the friendly landlady. She gave us a permit to park the car in the busy car park so we didn't have to pay. Our room was spotless and spacious and the period bathroom is a work of art! We couldn't have asked for more from...
