We loved our room and the entire guest house had been restored beautfiully to reflect the period of the property. The host was very accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. A perfect location with amenities, restaurants and pubs nearby and lots of countryside and beach walks to make the most of. The room itself and the house was very clean and comfortable. Hand sanitiser was available on entry and the accommodation felt very safe and secure.
Ms. Jane runs a wonderful guest house. The rooms are lovely, but homely. It has the standards of a hotel, with the feel of home. The bed was comfy, the shower was gorgeous and the house just looks brilliant, right? Placed between two great walks, you can either saunter into the bay on the Cleveland Walk with pristine views, or take the 'Cinder Track' and discover the rolling hills nearby. For dining, you've got a more upmarket sea front Victoria Hotel down the road, or a little further and you've got cheap and cheerful Fish Box (again, extremely close by). There are two parking spaces, so if it's busy, you may not be able to park. Luckily, there's a public parking area within 20 metres of the property (but you'd have to pay). Jane's stuck closely to Covid-approved guidelines whilst giving you a great deal of freedom and autonomy. Well done. I'll be back I'm sure.…
We stayed for one night while we were walking the Cleveland Way booked through Macs Adventures. We arrived soaking wet after a soggy days walking from Whitby. We had a very friendly welcome and a helpful hostess who took our wet clothes for drying. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
Karen Jane runs an outstanding guest house. The welcome you get is matched by the service you receive, EXCELLENT. She went out of her way to help us. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting the area. Thank you. 💂♀️Matt, Andy, Grenadier Guards.
This is a lovely B&B perfect location to bars and Restaurant, the rooms were lovely and clean and beds were super comfy, the only downside was it was on a room only basic even though it was B&B the owner told us it was due to covid restriction but other B&B's in the area were serving breakfast so not sure what the restriction where, but apart from that a lovely stay at the villa, will definitely be back hopefully with Breakfast included
