Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel's Favourite
A forced visit here due to hospital procedure, but such a convenient position for all Kettering hospitals. Access not too straightforward mainly due to very busy road but hotel easy to see from road. Staff here are excellent and extremely helpful. Restaurant attached basic but good.

We stopped over as a break on a long journey so arrived at 9.00pm and left at 9.00am and the whole experience was great. The staff are so friendly - from check in, to breakfast and at check out. Really recommend. Super clean. Would stay again! Ideal Location.

Hotel could not be faulted. But when arriving at 8pm we were told the bar closed at 9 and no food was avalivle just enough time for one drink. I felt very disappointed after a 3 hour drive there we could not sit down to a meal and couple of drinks instead of being rushed out to our room. Totally ruined the stay.

The shower head was covered in lime scale, I had to clean it before I could use it, there was no blanket in the cot, the fan was broken, which isn’t great as we had a little toddler with us, the receptionist took 10 minutes to check us in, apart from that everything was okay.

Shoddy outside areas very unkept! Room had a electrical socket hanging from wall on the desk. Lacking general maintenance, guttering hanging off or missing, 100s of cigarette butts scattered from a full receptacle.

Service was average in the kettering branch, not many smiles. Our equipment was thrown away when they decided to clean our room. After a lot of ups and down only partial items were returned and we were advised to contact customer relations to recover the rest. They disposed of our items and should of had the means to replace as it was there negligence but management were quite unprofessional. Now we have to waste our time and effort. We also asked for our towels to be changed everyday but that never happened unless we went to reception.

Forget trying to work if you are in the annex, apparently the Wi-Fi doesn't work well or at all when the weather is bad. It was down completely, the free one and the ultimate one, then the receptionist lies to you about engineers working on it. I would not stay here again just because of the attitude of the receptionist (Blonde Hair)
