But it was tough and hard to eat. Also the roast potatoes were very average!! And the vegetables well.......... red...

We just happened to find this Pub/Restaurant when we were out on a Bank Holiday. The whole place was clean and smart, loos checked and approved by my wife, the service was efficient and friendly with very good wholesome pub food. Well worth a diversion of the M! at Crick, possibly less than 2 miles.

Still working our way around hotels in Warwickshire, my wife heard good things at work about The George, so last Sunday we tried it. Quiet when we got there, first impressions are that it needs a good update, served our drinks by the owner, extremely pleasant lady who also showed us to our table. Service was excellent and the food...

Joining some friends - we booked a table at The George in Kilsby - for what turned out to be thoroughly enjoyable evening. The proprietor and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious - with an excellent choice. This is a lovely village pub and restaurant - we'll be going back!

Popped into the George spontaneously on a Saturday lunchtime for a birthday meal. They were very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed the whole experience, would definitely recommend!

We visited The George at Kilsby on 27 November in the evening for a meal, we have never eaten there before so we're looking forward to a great meal. Two of the four of us were very disappointed at the quality of the food, we had Fishcakes which were tasteless and as we paid more than we normally do we...

Was looking forward to this visit. Had fish and chips from lunch menu. Dreadful. Frozen, oven warmed fish , dry, and tasteless. Fish should be freshly battered and deep fried, Quite the worst I have had anywhere.Chips fine but not very many. Will not be returning.

This was our first visit to the George and we were very impressed with the food. The restaurant is nicely fitted out and has a good atmosphere. There is also a less formal pub area if you want to be more casual. The fillet steak I had was the best steak I have eaten for a long time, very tender...
