Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A clean and comfortable guest house with a warm welcome and plenty of car parking space. Comfortable beds and a great breakfast. Close to Silverstone circuit and within walking distance of local pubs.

We needed a B&B close to friends we were visiting so took a chance on this one because of the good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Joyce and Martin are really welcoming and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and full of extra little bits to welcome visitors including home made cake - yum. Really good, quiet lovely house and excellent breakfasts. We highly recommend you stay and use the facilities available including Wifi. Most of all is the welcome you receive and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely stay there again should we be visiting our friends again. Our huge thanks to our hosts.

My fiance and I spent 3 nights at the Pembury Guest House in Silverstone village for the MotoGP last weekend. I had originally booked to stay in the Premier Inn at Northamption (20 miles away) for the 3 nights; however, chanced my luck by emailing Joyce (about 4-6 months before the event) to see if she had any spare rooms available for that weekend. Unfortunately, she was fully booked; however, she offered to keep me in mind if any cancellations should occur. Joyce kept in touch with me every couple of months, letting me know she hadn't forgotten about me; however, she still had no availability.

Skip forward until a week before the MotoGP and Joyce dropped me an email, letting me know she had a last minute cancellation and wanted to know if I would like first refusal. Of course I did.

The rate of the accommodation itself was more expensive than the Premier Inn that we were originally booked into; however, it was worth every penny. Joyce and Martin were absolutely lovely, inviting us into their house. The room was a lovely en suit room that was nice and clean. Each day, we came home to the room having been tidied and chocolates being left for us on our pillows along with some local home made cookies. It was a nice touch.

Each morning, we had breakfast cooked for us at 8am and it set us up nicely for the day. The only complaint I have (and it has nothing to do with the guest house) is I wish I had read the breakfast menu that was left in the room before the last day - turns out We could have asked for a pack lunch (for a nominal fee) which would have saved us pigging out on fatty foot in at the circuit.

The guest house itself is within walking distance of the circuit and just around the corner from the local pub. An ideal situation.

My wife an I have been visiting Joyce's lovely guest house for a number of years in connection with events at the home of motorsport , we always get the most wonderful welcome .
Joyce makes sure that all the details that make a stay away from home a good experience are catered for .
Needless to say the accommodation is first class and the food and hygiene is excellent.
Make sure you get one of the packed lunches if you going to the circuit for the day

My daughter and I stayed two nights at Pembury House. Our hostess, Joyce, was very welcoming and accommodating with our late arrival time. The bedroom and bathroom were both spotless and the breakfast and packed lunches were very tasty and made with good quality ingredients. We would certainly stay here again if the need arose.

Clean, comfortable and quiet B&B. Very close to Silverstone racetrack for bike and track days, with good off street parking. Good cooked breakfast. Joyce, the owner, was friendly and helpful. Great value.

We now stayed twice in this family run B&B! You could not find a nicer, more friendlier host then Joyce & her husband. Attention to details seem to be their motto! Bedrooms are well equipped and very clean. Breakfast is of great quality and well presented.
The couple make you feel at home and could not do enough for you. Great place if you like to visit the circuit!
We shall certainly look forward to staying there again!

"We were located in a room on the front of the house and like to sleep with our bedroom window open. Looking onto the main road, there was some traffic noise but, if you sleep with the window closed, this would not be a problem. However, I believe there are rooms at the back of the house, which we would recommend if available."
