Spent 4 nights here. Well situated in central Alnwick. Parking a bit of an issue but there is a long stay car park about 5 min walk away. All staff fabulous and very friendly and attentive. Room was up 2 sets of v steep stairs so beware if you have mobility issues. Room v spacious and large bathroom with bath and shower- towel rail cold but towels replaced each day so no problem. Room a little cool but that is better than being too hot. Elemis shower and shampoo etc but only one small bottle not replaced during stay. Similarly 2 bottles of water on arrival but no more. So overall - great and v reasonable price. Breakfast v substantial. Staff fab. Just one or two minor irritations that prevent a 5* but if I could give 41/2 I would!

We had a lovey stay here. The room was large and very well appointed. It's well located and the bed very comfortable. The only reason we didn't give it five stars is that the water didn't drain well from the shower trap.

Very tasty food and great friendly service. Would recommend a visit. Staying locally for the weekend. Value for money. Clean and well kept. Dog friendly. Cocktails 2 for £10 before 7pm. Good menu. Real ales. Alnwick is a lovely place to visit.

Nicely appointed, decent sized room, huge bathroom and great to have a fan in the room with the warm weather. Comfy bed and clean room. As we arrived on a Sunday, we found plenty of parking options in Alnwick, but the hotel gave us a parking disc, which we did need to continue our free parking in the morning, as breakfast was a fairly late start at 9am. Breakfast was included and pre-ordered the night before, a tasty full English, but other options available.
