Booked the caravan holiday home for my husbands birthday, caravan beautiful, but very dissapointed to not be told either when I booked or before we arrived that the bar and restaurant was not going to be open all the time. Went to have our evening meal on Monday to find the bar closed no explication, reception closed so waited till next morning and was told it wouldn't open till 4pm on the Wednesday, so I pay for a holiday with no bar or restaurant open not really good enough. We had been for Sunday dinner which after ordering we had to wait for 50minut3s to arrive no explanation and the young bar staff had no idea what was going on. The food was lovely but could charge much less as there is far too much on your plate everyone in the restaurant left food on there plates so such a waste. We have been comming here for years about 2 or 3 times every year for at least 40yrs and I am very disappointed with the service this year I know they are having problems recruiting staff but not to be told earlier that restaurant would not be open everyday is a letdown and spoils the holiday.

Super site with great facilities for families. This site has everything incl. super views of Budle Bay and beyond to the Holy Island and as far Berwick. A short walk into the village of Bamburgh and to the statuesque castle and for the fit a good walk into adjacent Seahouses. Nature trails ; dog walking areas; adventure playparks and and an outdoor pool. There is also adecent bar and restaurant, well-stocked shop.... Nice toilet and shower facilities for tourers.

I booked for 4 tents and a tourer and as we were there our friends booked a static caravan. Things started well went to reception ( paid another £27.00 for two extra cars ( very pricey). We were all happy with our pitches and we were in a nice location. £400 for tents and tourer and our friends paid £370 for 2 nights. Our friends were happy with the caravan but could not access it until 4pm and had to leave after their stay by 10am. £370 was extremely expensive given they could not access the caravan until 4pm and they will not return. Really disappointed with the showers as there was nowhere to change ( floor was soaking wet and had to try to keep feet dry to get trousers on or drench a towel, terrible). Baby changing facilities were very poor, one family room that had a queue a mile long. Had to carry my one year old grandson from the showers back to the tent as there was literally nowhere to lay him to get him dressed. Toilet rarely had toilet roll and bin was overflowing with used hand wipes. At one point I walked out the toilet and tripped over the wet floor rubber that had been left propped up against the toilet cubicle outside the door! We went to takeaway pizza shop on site, lady serving was very miserable. Young man in the shop was very pleasant. We were shocked at the state of the pool as it was rotten, although the pool wasn’t due to open until end of May it looked a disgrace. We will not return very disappointed.

Unfortunately not our kind of site it was too big and too busy. Meal in the pub on site was very nice and the serviced pitch was fine but the showers and toilets etc left a lot to be desired. Never seemed to have clean floors and nothing to clean with. Even the family shower rooms had very wet mucky floors Not what we are used to or expecting for £30+ a night

Staying in touring site, ladies toilets closed getting upgraded, need to use family pods not very clean, swimming pool is green with algae and not in use, but still advertised my children would still have used it even although it is outdoors. Bar staff so unwelcoming, woke up to a chainsaw at 8.30 Monday morning of Easter holidays cutting back trees, why was this work not done out of season very disappointed, we will not stay full week.
