We stayed overnight for the first time in a Superior Room with Shower that was very nicely appointed and decorated. Had drinks in the bar and a meal in the restaurant. We opted for the dinner b&b option which was very good venue. Our only criticism was my husband's lamb was tough.

Visited Bamburgh with our dog yesterday for a lovely walk along the beach and looked for somewhere that would be OK with a big dog, The Lord Crewe, Wynding Inn bar has a clear sign in the doorway that it is dog friendly so we stayed there, and friendly they were, we couldn't actually get in the bar as so...

My husband and I have just returned from an overnight weekend break at the Lord Crewe, Bamburgh. We took advantage of a very good Winter Offer and goodness were we not disappointed!! It was excellent from the minute the Manager checked us in until our departure. We were in Rm 2 - fabulously spacious and luxurious! Eve dinner package was...

We ate in this restaurant yesterday. Staff were dismissful and sharp from the moment we opened the door. I advised waitress that I had a child with a nut allergy and she promptly told me she could guarantee nothing on the menu. Food was good. Most definitely would not recommend this because of rude staff.

My husband & I visited this busy bar yesterday (2/1/17) for lunch. It was very busy with no tables available. There were some tables which looked as though they were nearly finished so we decided to wait. There were two ladies in front of us also waiting for a table. After a couple of minutes another lady approached the two...

Visited the Lady Crewe Tearoom. When entering the tearoom the staff members ignored us and didn't explain that we needed to find our own table and order at the counter. They had sold out of scones and explained very rudely that we need to go somewhere else if we wanted scones. Two young waitresses got our simple order of tea...

Lord C is an excellent location and the rooms are great. However the bar was very poor. Dirty glasses and evidence of poor line cleaning. Keg Ale product was clearly aged. Catering poor and felt as if using cheap ingredients. Breakfast bacon was cheap and burnt to a crisp. Gone down hill since two years ago and they need to...

Lovely tea rooms attached to the Lord Crewe PH and restaurant in the centre of Bamburgh. After a rather abrupt welcome from one waitress who was obviously coming to the end of her shift the second waitress was very welcoming and chatty. I had a lovely scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam. We also had a variety of cakes...
