Stayed for one night and had evening meal. The room was very large and an excellent standard. The food was excellent. The service was brilliant. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lord C is an excellent location and the rooms are great. However the bar was very poor. Dirty glasses and evidence of poor line cleaning. Keg Ale product was clearly aged. Catering poor and felt as if using cheap ingredients. Breakfast bacon was cheap and burnt to a crisp. Gone down hill since two years ago and they need to...

Lovely tea rooms attached to the Lord Crewe PH and restaurant in the centre of Bamburgh. After a rather abrupt welcome from one waitress who was obviously coming to the end of her shift the second waitress was very welcoming and chatty. I had a lovely scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam. We also had a variety of cakes...

At check in , Robin couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming, helping us with our bags to a most beautiful room , with a HUGE bathroom. The view was lovely- both the Castle and the sea. We were out with friends that evening so didn't dine there, but had a drink in front of the roaring fire on the...

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome, even though it was busy the member of staff who checked us in could not have been more friendly and informative. We were given a room upgrade (not sure why), but it was a much appreciated gesture. We were given room 2, with a view of the sea and...

Stunningly positioned, this small hotel is big on food and good service. Huge rooms with great bathroom although no hot water in the shower which made for a rude awakening. Easy parking and great overnight spot.

One cannot fault the position of the Lord Crewe: right in the middle of the village with stunning views of the castle as one steps out of the hotel. Bedroom was spacious and clean if uninspiring. The bathroom had been recently redone but, although it was impeccable in terms of cleanliness, the advertised bath had been swept away in the...

Stayed here for 2 x nights on the 24 & 25 October and we arrived early at 8am as we were walking to Alnmouth. The lady in reception gave us two coffees to take out which was a lovely gesture after our car journey. When we got back after the walk we were allocated room 2 which was lovely, clean...

A very well run hotel, an excellent menu, restaurant, tea room and breakfasts as well as having a really high standard of rooms. The staff are really helpful, and the standards are high. Easy to book online, and parking available. Coupled with the Castle and other local attractions this is a really worthwhile place to visit and the Lord Crew...

We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. We were welcomed as we arrived and every member of staff we encountered was helpful, friendly and courteous. Our room was a delight (Room 2), spotless, comfortable and roomy with a spacious and modern bathroom. Everything was gleaming! We are in the hotel restaurant on two nights (and...
