Stayed for a full week in one of their lovely rooms.Rooms are in a long c shape all with own front door or outside. Each has its own door to outside and there is parking outside as well as a grassed area, seating and tables. Rooms are spacious with two big single beds with bedside table, an armchair, a large 6 drawer unit with console mirror, tv, and Gary with water, hot chocolate, tea coffee and milk, delicious biscuits and a kettle. There is also a small table with a small fridge on it big enough for a couple of bottle of wine, carton of milk and some chocolate. Above this is a hanging rack with half a dozen hangers. Bathroom has a big shower and toiletries and two bathsheets, two hand towels and a bath mat. Everything is replaced daily. Keys are in door and name is on blackboard when you arrive so you just let yourself in and on exit you leave room with key in door so very Covid friendly. Village is a gem. Two big pubs with beer gardens and excellent food of a high standard and salt water cafe 2 mins away serves high standard breakfast lunch and dinner with a great wine list and desert menu. They is a shop in the village selling all you needs and ice cream and at the main beech is an ice cream van, and the shack which serves barista quality drinks and homemade cakes and savouries and a in meals on a night

Farne Lodge was just as previous reviewers have stated .
It was exactly what we needed , clean and compact with everything needed for an overnight accomadation .
I recieved a text message from Ruth on the day of arrival informing us that our room number would be displayed on a board outside the rooms and the key would be left in the door .
We met Ruth and her sister Catherine the following morning when they arrived to clean the rooms and they were very friendly and gave us useful information regarding the area and a taxi number for us to get into Seahouses .
I would definately stay at Farne Lodge again if staying in Beadnell .

Myself and my family stayed at Farne lodge this weekend as we attended a wedding nearby and wanted somewhere reasonably priced and that we could all have our own rooms and bathrooms. The owner and team were all lovely and very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfort, each having a well appointed shower room. Adequate free parking is also included . Very happy with our choice and would definitely recommend this as a good value for money place to stay

Farne Lodge accommodation in Beadnell has an excellent standard in safety, Covid 19 routines in the rooms, plus is top for cleanliness, and its facilities. The friendly owners and staff are welcoming and care about your stay. Twin beds were immaculate, smart furniture, plus TV for rainy hours, and towels - all were spotless. That's what I found on my recent short break, booked as a friend recommended Farne Lodge and I travelled there safely on several buses. Part of the adventure. Ideal Beadnell village centre location. Value for money, and I want to return.

Excellent lodge in an great location, which gave my wife, I and my little boy a base to explore the beautiful Northumbrian coast. The cleanliness and furnishing of the lodge was to an extremely highly standard which makes you feel like you are in a brand new place. The hot tub was amazing and the complimentary prosecco was a lovely touch. The holiday park and Crazy Horse Pub were also great which added to an excellent holiday. Would highly recommend Farne Lodge.

Just spent an amazing week here. The accommodation is in a fabulous location, really well appointed with a modern en-suite bathroom, fridge, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, TV and more. So nice to sit outside of an evening, and outside tables and chairs are provided. Such friendly people too. Would highly recommend.

Just stayed 3 nights at this ideal accommodation whilst myself and friends enjoyed a diving weekend at the nearby islands. Accommodation was close to the harbour (barely 5 minutes drive), 2 mins from the pub and other local amenities. Very good quality accommodation, comfortable beds, excellent showers, bottled water replenished daily and everything was clean and modern. I look forward to staying there again- thanks!

Just got home from a family wedding at Bamburgh Castle and we stayed here (me, partner & 2 teen daughters). The facilities were fantastic, comfy beds, spotless clean and extremely helpful staff. Amazing location and lovely place to eat on site. We ate there twice and food was outstanding. The staff at the lodge (the lady who was cleaning the rooms) was so cheerful and helpful. We stayed in one lodge and our teen daughters (12yrs old) stayed in one next to us. All felt extremely safe and comfortable and will definitely be staying again!

Positives: The room was perfect and had all the facilities that large hotel could offer you and the price was out of this world.

Negatives; It was unfortunate that we had a party of golfers staying in the rooms on the night that we stayed and they'd been out celebrating, they arrived back at the lodge just before midnight and decided to have a get together in the room next door to us, the noise went on until 1am. I don't believe that these guests had read the information sheet in the room which clearly stated no noise after 10pm, the information sheet should be more prominent and possible positioned on the back of the door for everyone to see. We were told that the rooms had all been stables at some point and were built of wood, hence the noice factor.

Easy check in, your name is written on a chalkboard with your room number.
My room was a decent size and had everything I needed.
Good parking for my motorcycle, flat and solid.
Far enough away from the road to deter prying eyes.
Walls are a bit thin, you can here the guests next door.
Apart from that, an OK place to stay fir a night.

Go back to your booking for Farne Lodge. Send them an email message or text. The glasses should be safe as the staff are kind, thorough and trustworthy.

Hi Stephanie, I went to a wedding at Newton Hall while staying at Farne Lodge. I drove to Newton Hall and left my car there overnight. The Master of Ceremonies at the wedding gave me a list of phone numbers of local taxi firms and suggested I called them myself as sometimes they didn't appear if the hotel called them. I did this and arranged a taxi which turned up exactly as arranged. Sorry I can't remember the name of the taxi firm. My advice would be to arrange a taxi as soon as you can as they have to travel from Alnwick and seem to get booked up quite quickly. I got the impression that quite a lot of them are 'one man bands'. Hope this helps. Regards, George
