Excellent value, rooms are clean, bathrooms are new and very well laid out. The main thing why they get a 5 out of 5 was the staff, couldn’t do enough. Friendly and informative. For £69.00 bed and breakfast for two people it’s just very good value, the food in restaurant was good too. A great base to explore the local area with a decent breakfast what more could you ask for.

Not a bad place to stay, dinner was quite good. Bizarrely, none of the staff wore masks to protect guests or themselves from a global pandemic (on a day in 2022 when covid deaths are up 45% in the UK). Hard to understand the callous disregard for safety and basic public health measures.

Andrew, Georgia, Donna and the rest of the staff worked extremely hard, room was spotless, couldn't fault it, got WiFi no problem and the cleaner kept us in condiments etc. Food was lovely and a decent pint. Very dog friendly in the bar area and separate lounge, dog treats in the room too. So close to the jewels of Northumberland, would definitely recommend Keith n libby T

We did the 3 night Christmas Deal plus 1 extra night. Andrew and the staff where great, Christmas Day breakfast and Christmas lunch excellant. The Inn was let down by it's food on the other days. Our room electrics kept cutting out ( Andrew did give us his mobile phone number in case) but we just went and got a member staff. No wifi in the room only in the main building. Would not go back.
