I stayed at the Old Vicarage Guest House when in Berwick for a wedding with my husband, dad and brother. It's a really pretty place in a fantastic property which is located within easy walking distance of Berwick town. The owners were lovely, very welcoming and efficient, and we were very well looked after throughout our two night stay. Breakfast... More

Stayed in room 6 which was a very spacious, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and very accommodating hosts. Overall thoroughly enjoyed weekend stay. Lots of pubs and restaurants in Berwick and pretty walks to work up an appetite.

This is the place to stay if you're thinking of visiting North Northumberland or the Scottish Borders. It is a wonderful old Victorian Vicarage in Tweedmouth, Berwick upon Tweed. Quiet and peaceful, views of the Tweed estuary (just!) and off-street parking. Easy walking distance into the heart of Berwick and an excellent base for exploring the area. Ruth and Maurice... More

I stayed one night here with family after attending a relative's birthday party in the area. It's a lovely house, and everything is really thoughtfully done. I slept very well in my room, and appreciated the little touches - a mini cake, chocolate and folder of info about the local area. The lounge/sitting room is a lovely place to sit... More

Lovely place to stay! Nice quiet location, just across the bridge from Berwick town centre. Fantastic friendly hosts. Great for a quiet weekend away but with the option to cross the bridge to bars and shopping! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to everyone wishing to visit the area and have a break away.

We enjoyed 2 nights at The Old Vicarage Guest House and felt very spoilt throughout our stay. The room was delightful with a huge, extremely comfortable bed. Both the room and the en-suite were immaculately clean and nicely decorated and I loved the Body Shop Clementine shower gel! On our arrival, and also on our second day, we enjoyed Ruth's... More

Had a lovely stay in room 6. Very comfortable, large bed and armchairs in the bay window (was even nicer than the website looked). Delicious breakfasts, especially liked vicars porridge. Ruth and Maurice are delightful hosts. As it's licensed it has the feel of a luxury hotel rather than a guest house. Can't recommend it highly enough.
