Visited Holy Island for the day and wanted just a cup of tea to rest, first cafe we came to but very nice. Lovely food, Staff and environment. Sitting outside in the sun very therapeutic both the birds in the courtyard. First appears to be pricy but most places on the island are.

We booked a table for the family including child, the restaurant was warm cosy and service very friendly. They prepared a separate meal for my son as requested! He ate the lot :). I had fresh lobster at a very reasonable price. All the other dishes I sampled we're equally delicious. To top off a fab night. We got to cuddle...

On a cold rainy late May evening what could be better than a tasty meal and a bottle of wine served in what seemed like someone's front room! Hubby had crab salad and I had goats cheese parcel to start- we couldn't agree who had made the best choice! We both chose braised steak in a red wine sauce served...

Lovely meal in cosy surroundings with local fare. Crab and rice noodle salad starter was amazing; main fish dish didn't quite live up to it but maybe my taste buds were expecting something more distinctive after the well flavoured crab. Was quite quiet but approaching end of season.

We ate here on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed- the food and wine were fantastic (as well as being local and/ or organic) and the restaurant and our lovely sever were warm and welcoming. I've eaten in some pretty amazing restaurants around the world but can honestly say that the raspberry roulade was, hands down, the...

We had a delightful experience when we visited the Bean Goose. Having been recommended to us we had high hopes and weren't disappointed. I have a little boy of 2 and had been asked to stop by and speak to the chef to see what could be arranged for the little guy, the chef was really helpful and agreed it...

Two evenings, two very different dinners. The locally sourced crab cakes, ribeye steak, haddock, courgettes, strawberries, cheeses, ice cream are not to be missed. Lovely staff, very attentive and helpful, an inviting and lovely dining room and good wines. I would travel back some distance for another meal.

Just getting round to writing this review after going to this place a month ago, Still the disappointment has not gone away! We went pre-ordering lobster, so were expecting good things... on arrival we sat in a quaint little room & waited 15mins or so before anyone asked us if we wanted something to drink, it was freezing cold so...

We have visited Cafe Bean Goose on several occasions, and yet to be dissapointed. I usually visit with my partner, but this summer we took my 8 year old granddaugter to visit for the first time. The first thing you notice on entering Cafe Bean Goose, is how very cosy and welcoming it is, add to this the WONDERFUL staff...
