Belvue Guesthouse, Holy Island, provides high-standard accommodation for those who want to stay ‘on island’ in this beautiful location. We have two luxury studios with kitchenettes and one 'no frills' twin room. All rooms have been renovated to an exacting standard and include en suite rainfall showers, fluffy towels and luxury toiletries, as well as very comfortable beds with crisp hotel-quality linen. Belvue guesthouse is based in Chare Ends, only a few minutes walk from the shops, cafes and pubs in Holy Island village, and of course in a prime location for exploring Lindisfarne Priory, Lindisfarne Castle and the nature reserve. Our 'hands off' policy is designed to give our guests peace and tranquility with hosts who are available if you need them, but without the feeling as though you are staying in someone's house.

I've never seen such a friendly and understanding host. Outstanding level of hospitality. The word perfect is not enough to describe the luxury of the room. Best shower I have ever seen in the UK. The attention to give us information, maps and books that you can find in the room makes you want stay for a month. Thank you so much :)

We have had a great recent stay at Belvue on Holy Island. So comfortable, warm and immaculate. Every need had been considered and couldn’t think of any improvements that could be made. We also really appreciated having a ‘dog-free’ room so felt everything was super fresh which added to our comfort. The owners are discreet but on hand for any help and information on the island, just a nice relaxed balance. Would highly recommend and we will look forward to coming again.

We stayed Abbott room and it had everything we needed. It is done to a very high standard has a very comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. Pretty much everything you need is provided. Lovely view from the Abbott window. Danny and Dave who run Belvue went out of there way to make sure we had a lovely stay. We will stay again.

We stayed two nights in the Abbott Suite. We received an excellent advance briefing by email about access to the property and all its facilities as well as information about nearby cafes and eateries. There’s also a lot of detailed information about the island on their web-site. The room was perfect, with a high attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back!

Spent 2 nights at this fabulous guest house on Holy Island in the Reiver Studio which is a very spacious self contained room. Beautiful decor and caters for your every need. Spotlessly clean too. The owners can't do enough to help you enjoy and make the most of your stay. No shortage of communications prior to your trip with some top tips for pre-booking local restaurants for an evening meal. We booked the Crown and Anchor on both nights and it was fabulous, so glad we booked in advance. We had our lunch and coffee & cake at 1st Class Food also a top tip from our hosts Dave & Danny. We are already looking forward to organising our next trip. Thank you so much!

We've just stayed at Belvue for the second time (first time last year). We absolutely love this Guest House and have stayed in the Abbot Studio on both occasions. Great communication from the owners, Dave and Danny, who provide a lot of great information, especially when it comes to booking meals well in advanced at the local pubs etc (highly recommend the Crown and Anchor!) Fantastic room, very stylish, modern, very comfortable and extremely clean. Bed was perfect with crisp clean white bedding. We ate out but the small kitchenette is a very welcome addition (as is the coffee, tea, milk and of course the chocolates! :) ). With a guaranteed parking space, lovely private outdoor patio area (which gets the sun all afternoon...we were so lucky to have fantastic weather two years running!) to sit and chill with a cool drink, Belvue really is the perfect place to stay on Holy Island, we wouldn't stay any where else. We're already looking forward to our next stay in 2024.…

Perfect accommodation! Danny and Dave have gone to some effort to create the perfect overnight stay on Holy Island. The quality of the room and the facilities were excellent. Every little thing has been thought of. We really enjoyed our stay and the island becomes a different place when the ‘tourists’ have all gone home - definitely worth staying over.
